Intilaqa Elite is a prestigious initiative designed to empower talented and dedicated Grade 11 Emirati students to pursue their higher education dreams at some of the world's best universities. This program will nurture a generation of exceptional scholars who will contribute significantly to the advancement of the United Arab Emirates and its global standing.

As an Emirati student, this program offers you the opportunity to embark on an educational journey that transcends borders, broadens horizons, and equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

The university readiness program is delivered by the Ministry of Education and powered by Crimson Education, the world's leading university admissions consultancy.

About the Intilaqa Elite Program

The Intilaqa Elite Study Abroad Program offers 40 Emirati students the chance to receive world class university admissions coaching, essay mentoring, SAT and IELTS tutoring, extra-curricular and leadership development, exclusive webinars and masterclasses, access to a game-changing university prep technology platform (the Crimson App) with a host of admissions- and career-related resources, and more.

This is a competitive program that aims to identify, select and nurture the most ambitious and driven young Emiratis to gain acceptance to the world's best universities. The program will also help participants identify passions and skills, preparing them for success in their future careers. The program will last until high school graduation.

Eligibility criteria
- Must be an Emirati National
- Must have excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Must be in Grade 11 Academic year 2023-2024 - although the program lasts through high school until graduation
- Must have a strong academic record
- Must be motivated to study at high ranking universities abroad
- Must have parental consent for participation in the program and for eventual study abroad
How can students join the program?

The application process for the Intilaqa Elite university readiness program is designed to assess your commitment, academic prowess, subject interests, and readiness to embrace the challenges of studying abroad. The holistic evaluation will encompass your academic background, subject preferences, English language proficiency, and any relevant standardized test scores.

How to Apply:
- Carefully complete each section of the application form, providing accurate and comprehensive responses.
- Attach all required documents, including school transcripts, English proficiency test results (if applicable), and scores from any relevant standardized tests (PSAT, ACT, SAT, AP exams).
- Submit the completed application form and documents by the specified deadline.
- The top applicants will be invited to an in-person interview with their parents.
- Following that, successful candidates will be notified of their admission to the program.

The Intilaqa Elite Study Abroad Program aims to identify and support the most ambitious, driven, passionate, curious and engaged young Emiratis. We are looking for students who have thought deeply about their place in the world and their passions, and have not stopped there - we are looking for students who have taken action towards their goals, engaged with their subject interests and experimented with leadership and creativity.

We are interested in your creative ideas, wit, cleverness, personal characteristics, intellectual curiosity and more. Essays will also be graded on punctuation, grammar, maturity of ideas, and fluency in the English language.

Please choose one of the prompts below and write an essay on it:
1. Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
2. The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
3. Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?
