    Highlighted Test Center Rules and Regulations

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

    The test center administrator (TCA) is authorized to dismiss you from a testing session and/or ETS may cancel your scores for reported violations of these procedures and regulations. If cancellation should be necessary. no scores will be reported, and your test fee will not be refunded

    Identification and Check-in Procedures

    1. You must have valid and acceptable identification (ID) to take the test. Keep your ID with you at all times.

    2. Before every entry into the test room, you will be required to empty and turn all pockets inside out, raise shirt sleeves above your wrists, and raise your pants legs above your ankles.

    3.If you are wearing eyeglasses you will be required to remove them for visual inspection to ensure they do not contain a recording device. Certain jewelry and hair accessories are also prohibited in the testing room.

    Personal Belongings and Breaks

    4. You must follow the procedures set by the test center for storage of personal belongings.

    5. If you need to access an item stored in the test center during a break - only food, beverage and/or medicine are permitted - you must inform the TCA before you get the item.

    6.You are not allowed to access or use any prohibited items during the testing session or during breaks; these include, but are not limited to: notes, study materials, phones, watches, and any other electronic, recording. listening. scanning or photographic devices.

    7. You are not permitted to leave the test center building during the testing session or during breaks. 

    8.Repeated or lengthy departures from the testing room will be reported to ETS. If the test you are taking includes a scheduled break, you must not exceed the allowed break time shown on the directions screen. Violations will be reported to ETS.

    Prohibited Items and Conduct

    9.You may not communicate with anyone about the content of the test. You may not discuss or share test content or test responses/answers during the testing session, during breaks or after the testing session. Communication in any form is not permitted during the test.

    10. You may not remove, or attempt to remove, any test content or scratch paper from the testing room or test center at any time before. during or after the test. You must return all scratch paper, in its entirety. to the TCA at the end of the testing session.

    11.Disruptive behavior in any form will not be tolerated. The TCA has sole discretion in determining what constitutes disruptive behavior.

     

    I agree to the policles and procedures set forth on this statement, the current year's edition of the test program's Registration/Information Bulletin and website for the test being taken. These include, but are not limited to, those concerning test administration rules and regulations, collection of photographs, biometrics, personal data, ETS Privacy and Security Policy, and the reporting or cancellation of scores. I am the person whose name and address appear on the check-in screen. I agree to maintain the full confidentiality of all test questions and answers at all times and will not reproduce and/or disclose any test question or answer in whole or in part to any person or entity in any manner. I understand that if do not agree to these conditions, I will not be permitted to test, and my test fee will not be refunded. Imay also be prohibited from taking any future tests and may be subject to any additional actions ETS deems appropriate if the copyright or intellectual property policies are violated.
