Brainerd Lakes Chamber Ambassadors - Position Description

Chamber Ambassadors are the most visible representatives of the Chamber, igniting relationships that strengthen our members and communities. Together, they are a dynamic team of Connectors, Advisors, Hosts, Cheerleaders, and Champions.

Teams of 5

Ambassadors meet monthly as a large group but are assigned to five-person teams to fulfill the majority of responsibilities. Captains lead the team and ensure completion of duties between meetings.

Ambassador Activities (Typical Month)

Monthly Ambassador Meetings (first Thursday of each month) 1.5 hours
New Member Welcome Visits (2) 2 hours
Business After Hours (1-2) 1.5 hours
Check-in Calls (1) 0.5 hours
Optional Chamber Events (Varies) <6 hours per month

Appointment & Terms

The Chamber’s Board of Directors appoints Ambassadors for a three-year term. Volunteers may serve up to two terms. Active participation is required.
