2025 PAFF ArtFEST Application

The PAFF ArtFEST is a vibrant celebration of artistic expression, showcasing over 100 talented artists from around the globe. The festival features a diverse range of mediums including oil, watercolor, glass, ceramics, metal, and more, all influenced by African aesthetics and its diaspora. Beyond fine arts, the ArtFEST offers unique crafts, designer fashions, jewelry, home decor, and fashion accessories. With something to cater to every taste and budget, the ArtFEST attracts over 100,000 visitors annually, making it a cornerstone of cultural exchange and artistic showcase.

We are excited to announce that this year the PAFF ArtFEST will take place at the Westfield Culver City located at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230.

Before you begin, please be prepared to complete the application and submit the $46.50 application fee. The deadline to apply is December 22, 2024. Any applications submitted after this date will be accepted at the sole discretion of PAFF and subject to applicable late fees. All fees must be paid within 3 days of application acceptance or artist will have re-submit their application.

I UNDERSTAND a non-refundable application fee of $46.50 will be applied to all transactions must be paid at the time I submit my application. Artists will be notified of acceptance by email within 3 business days of submitting their application. All booth fees must be paid within 7 days of acceptance. If the entire booth fee is not paid within 7 days, I will have to re-apply and pay another application fee plus applicable booth fee. Therefore, I will make sure to apply at least 7-days before the Application Deadline.All fees must be paid online in U.S. dollars. Absolutely no cash or checks will be accepted. I will not receive credit for payments made in cash.*

Booths are rented in 4-day blocks which may be rented in any combination. Booth locations will be assigned by PAFF based on the needs of ArtFEST and/or the Venue Host.

REGULAR APPLICATION: Now – December 22, 2024)
LATE APPLICATION: December 23, 2024 through January 5, 2025. (Acceptance based on space available.)

LATE FEE: There is a $75 late fee added onto each 4-day block.

Please Note: PAFF may not provide set-up equipment such as table, tablecloth or chairs. Please check with PAFF administration closer to the event to find out what equipment, if any, will be provided.

I have read and agree to all the specified terms and conditions set forth in the Pan African Film Festival ArtFEST Application and Guidelines. I further release PAFF and the Venue Host and all of their boards of directors, employees, consultants and other duly appointed representatives of all liability and responsibility for any injury, damage or loss sustained by exhibitor, or exhibitor’s guests or employees before, during or after PAFF. This includes theft, damage to or breakage of artist’s merchandise or personal property. I represent that I have a right to display and sell all artwork, handcrafts, clothing, jewelry, home wares, and other objects of art displayed at my booth. I understand that PAFF reserves the right to remove anything for any reason. I understand that in the event I must cancel my reservation and cannot participate, there is a 50% refund penalty and no rain check. I have read and understand PAFF’s refund policy. In consideration of PAFF’s acceptance of my application, I agree to accept all decisions of the PAFF management regarding the PAFF ArtFEST. I agree to allow PAFF to use my submitted art photos and other promotional materials including photographs and videotapes taken at the ArtFEST for the purposes of promoting PAFF this year and in future years. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Pan African Film Festival and the Venue Host and affiliated organizations or entities, directors, officers, agents, investors or employees, from any and all liabilities, demands, or costs to property or persons as a result of my participating in the 2025 Pan African Film & Arts Festival. I agree to pay within seven (7) days of the show’s end for any physical damage done to the Venue as a result of my activities.I understand that I am responsible for the payment of any and all sales tax due on any of the merchandise I sell during the PAFF ArtFEST. Additionally, I accept that I am responsible to acquire any sales licenses required by Los Angeles City/County for participation in the PAFF ArtFest.Participants are required to follow the city, county and state COVID-19 mandates in place during the festival. In the event the mandates are not followed, exhibitors will be removed from the premises, with no refund of fees. In the event that COVID-19 requires that the ArtFEST be cancelled, booth will be refunded. In the event that COVID-19 requires that the ArtFEST be closed during the event, fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.
