The 2025 Pan African Film & Arts Festival Artfest (PAFF Artfest) is back—and we’re bringing the creativity home to Baldwin Hills Crenshaw! This vibrant, open-air celebration of artistic excellence features over 100 world-class artists showcasing work influenced by the beauty, struggle, and soul of Africa and its diaspora. From bold oils and delicate watercolors to glass, ceramics, textiles, metalwork, and mixed media, Artfest is where fine art meets cultural storytelling.

But it’s not just about what’s on the canvas. Discover handcrafted jewelry, wearable art, home décor, one-of-a-kind fashion, and more—curated to reflect our global Black aesthetic. With styles, prices, and pieces for every taste, it’s no surprise that PAFF Artfest draws over 100,000 visitors each year.

Before you begin, please be prepared to complete the application and submit the $40.00 application fee. The regular deadline to apply is July 21, 2025. The late deadline (with an increased fee) August 5, 2025. is Any applications submitted after this date will be accepted at the sole discretion of PAFF and subject to applicable late fees. All fees must be paid within 7 days of application acceptance or artist will have re-submit their application.

The first 10 applicants to complete their application before midnight on July 21, 2025, using the waiver code PAFFART10 will have their application fee waived and receive an additional $50 off of their booth fee.

I UNDERSTAND a non-refundable application fee of $40.00 will be applied to all transactions must be paid at the time I submit my application. Artists will be notified of acceptance by email within 3 business days of submitting their application. All booth fees must be paid within 7 days of acceptance. If the entire booth fee is not paid within 7 days, I will have to re-apply and pay another application fee plus applicable booth fee. Therefore, I will make sure to apply at least 7-days before the Application Deadline.All fees must be paid online in U.S. dollars. Absolutely no cash or checks will be accepted. I will not receive credit for payments made in cash.*

Booths are rented in one 4-day block of August 21-24, 2025. Booth locations will be assigned by PAFF based on the needs of Artfest and/or the Venue Host.

REGULAR BOOTH FEE: Now – July 21, 2025 Midnight PDT - $895
LATE BOOTH FEE: July 22 - August 5, 2025. (Any application submitted after August 5, acceptance is at the sole discretion of PAFF.) - $975

Please Note:

Displays

Displays must look professional. All items must be placed on a table, easel, grid or display stand. Designer should have professional display equipments such as racks, grids, and mannequin. Works cannot be propped up against railings, walls or planters. Tabletops and table legs must be covered with a black fire retardant fabric. You must provide protection for the floor if you are demonstrating in your booth. Booth size will vary based upon location approved by PAFF. All booths must be staffed at all times during business hours. You must provide your own assistants. Volunteers may be available for short-term (5-15 minutes) relief only. PAFF and the venue take no responsibility for loss or theft.

Each booth comes with one table, a table-cloth and 2 chairs. Grids and displays may not exceed 6 feet in height. PAFF will not provide grids or easels for rent.

The venue supplies overhead general lighting. There are limited electrical outlets and wattage. Not all spaces have access to electricity. If your display requires electricity please make sure to indicate such on your application. Artists must have their own heavy-duty grounded electrical cords with floor cover. There may be service charge for electrical hook-up.

Set-up

Exhibitors may be given specific locations for parking, loading and unloading. There will be an exhibitor’s orientation meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 and artists will set-up immediately following the orientation meeting. Absolutely no set-ups will be allowed during business hours. Please bring your own dolly.

Once accepted, artists/vendors will receive more guidance and information for set-up and orientation date August 20, 2025.

I have read and agree to all the specified terms and conditions set forth in the Pan African Film Festival Artfest Application and Guidelines. I further release PAFF and the Venue Host and all of their boards of directors, employees, consultants and other duly appointed representatives of all liability and responsibility for any injury, damage or loss sustained by exhibitor, or exhibitor’s guests or employees before, during or after PAFF. This includes theft, damage to or breakage of artist’s merchandise or personal property. I represent that I have a right to display and sell all artwork, handcrafts, clothing, jewelry, home wares, and other objects of art displayed at my booth. I understand that PAFF reserves the right to remove anything for any reason. I understand that in the event I must cancel my reservation and cannot participate, refunds are at the sole discretion of PAFF. I have read and understand PAFF’s refund policy. In consideration of PAFF’s acceptance of my application, I agree to accept all decisions of the PAFF management regarding the PAFF Artfest. I agree to allow PAFF to use my submitted art photos and other promotional materials including photographs and videotapes taken at the Artfest for the purposes of promoting PAFF this year and in future years. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Pan African Film Festival and the Venue Host and affiliated organizations or entities, directors, officers, agents, investors or employees, from any and all liabilities, demands, or costs to property or persons as a result of my participating in the PAFF Artfest. I agree to pay within seven (7) days of the show’s end for any physical damage done to the Venue as a result of my activities.I understand that I am responsible for the payment of any and all sales tax due on any of the merchandise I sell during the PAFF Artfest. Additionally, I accept that I am responsible to acquire any sales licenses required by Los Angeles City/County for participation in the PAFF Artfest.Participants are required to follow the city, county and state COVID-19 mandates in place during the festival. In the event the mandates are not followed, exhibitors will be removed from the premises, with no refund of fees. In the event that COVID-19 requires that the PAFF Artfest the event that COVID-19 requires that the Artfest be closed during the event, fees will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.
