CEM/CEA REGISTRATION & ASSESSMENT FORM

Note: All designated establishments are required to enlist the services of a Certified Energy Manager (CEM)& Certified Energy Auditor (CEA).Qualified practitioners who fulfill the outlined minimum criteria are eligible to participate in training and certification examinations:
FOR CEM Minimum Requirements:
1. A Licensed Engineer; or a graduate of a four (4) year course or its equivalent.
2. 2. At least three (3) years of continuous hands-on experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of energy-consuming machines and equipment in a Type 1, 2 & 3 Designated Establishment (DE)
3. Managed the energy consumption of facilities, equipment and devices.
FOR CEA Minimum Requirements:

1.A Licensed Engineer; or a graduate of a four (4) year course or its equivalent

2.At least three (1) years of continuous experience in conducting energy audits in buildings and industrial facilities and / or other similar establishments.
3.Able to communicate through oral and written communication.

It is important to note that candidates who do not meet the specified eligibility criteria or have been disqualified during the assessment review will still be allowed to participate in the course. Please be aware that individuals falling under this category will still be eligible to obtain a certification upon completing the course, but it cannot be guaranteed that you can be fully certified by the DOE unless all requirements are fulfilled within the period given by the DOE.
