CEM REGISTRATION & ASSESSMENT FORM

Note: All designated establishments are required to enlist the services of a Certified Energy Conservation Officer (CECO) or a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Qualified practitioners who fulfill the outlined minimum criteria are eligible to participate in training and certification examinations:
1. Graduate of a bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a graduate of a four (4) year course or its equivalent
2. Holder of a valid Professional Regulations Commission ID based on his/her engineering course
3. Minimum of five (5) years of continuous hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy-consuming machines and equipment
4. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience related to energy management
5. Professional demonstrating a high level of experience, competency, proficiency, and ethical fitness in the energy management profession. Able to communicate both oral and written.

It is important to note that candidates who do not meet the specified eligibility criteria or have been disqualified during the assessment review will still be allowed to participate in the course. Please be aware that individuals falling under this category will still eligible to obtain a certification upon completing the course but it cannot be guaranteed that you can be fully certified by the DOE unless all necessary requirements are fulfilled within the period given by the DOE.
