  • Police Clearance Certificate for INDIA (For Foreign Nationals)

  • To complete this form, you will need:

    • A scanned copy of your Foreign passport (first and last page). NOTE: If your passport is expiring in less than 6 months, you are not eligible for a PCC. You need to renew your passport first.
    • If you held Indian passport in past, a scanned copy of your cancelled Indian passport (first and last page) is required. If your passport has not been cancelled, please call IVACS Australia at (02) 9622 9924
    • If you are a holder of OCI card, a scanned copy of your OCI card is required.
    • Details of your last travel to India - Purpose of stay, Duration of Stay, Type of Visa during stay, Visa number, Passport no. on which visa was issued, A copy of Visa grant, your visa stamp label & arrival/departure stamp labels from your existing foreign passport.
    • Proof of your Australian address.(Bank statement, Driver License etc.)
    • Details of two Indian references living near your Indian address. - Their Name, Address & Contact no.
    • If married, you will need proof of marriage & your spouse's passport.
    • If you stayed in India for study purpose, your academic documents are required.
    • A photo of the applicant. Strictly as per the instructions mentioned on next page.

     

    Each document and its details should be clearly visible in your uploaded photo/file.

    Make sure that the edges of the document are NOT being cropped.

  • PHOTOGRAPHS INSTRUCTIONS

  • ALL INSTRUCTONS MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED.

    1. You are requested to take a new NATURAL photo using your mobile phone. (Do not send any old photos, photos of an existing printed photo.)
    2. Any background is OK. 
    3. Stand Straight. Take half body photo – up to the waist. Both shoulders should be fully visible.
    4. There should not be too much shadow / light on any one side of the face.
      Whole face should have even lighting.
      We suggest you to turn your face towards the source of light.
      Try to click in natural lighting if possible.
      Click 3-4 photos in different background & different lighting conditions - indoor/outdoor
    5. Both ears must be clearly visible. Keep your head straight. No hair across ears. Please keep hair behind the ears or tie hair if needed.
    6. Teeth should not be visible.
    7. Do not wear glasses, earbuds, cap, etc.
    8. Do not edit, crop or any modification at all in any terms.
    9. Do not send selfies. (Please ask someone to click your photo or put timer on your camera.)
    10. Make sure the resolution of the photo is not very low.


    For Minor or new born,

    1. You are requested to take a new photo using your mobile phone.(Do not send any old photos)
    2. Please let your child sleep on floor on white towel/blanket and take photo.
    3. Eyes should be open. Try to click photo when your child is looking at camera.
    4. Make sure the face is straight & clearly visible. (Cloths should not cover any part of the face, no ribbons/cap on the head & we recommend holding their hands downwards)
    5. There should not be too much shadow / light on any one side of the face. Whole face should have even lighting.
    6. Make sure the resolution of the photo is not very low.


    Take a few photos, send all, we will use one of it. We will convert your photo to 2in x 2in and change the background to white as shown below.
