• How do the heating oil payment plans work for homes?

    • Simply complete the form below.
    • Advise us of the monthly Direct Debit value and the date you’d like monthly payments to be debited from your account (between the 1st and 28th of the month).
    • The agreed payment will then be made each month via Direct Debit on the specified date.
    • For Rix Payment Plan customers. once you're set up and we have received your first Direct Debit, and you're ready to order your heating oil, simply call our friendly sales team and they will process the order for you.
    • For Rix Pre-Payment Plan customers, once you're set up and ready to order your heating oil, simply call our friendly sales team and they will process the order against the funds built into your account**.

  • The Direct Debit Gurantee
     

    1. The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
    2. If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit the organisation will notify you (normally 10 working days) in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request the organisation to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request
    3. If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the organisation or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the organisation asks you to
    4. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify the organisation.

    • The Rix Payment Plan is only available to homeowners.
    • The Rix Petroleum Pre-Payment Plan is available to homeowners or tenants.
    • With the Rix Payment Plan, your order value cannot exceed four times your agreed monthly payment e.g. £100 a month = £400 order limit. Should you exceed your order limit, we will contact you to either increase your monthly payment, make a lump sum against your account or reduce your volume (minimum orders 500 litres), or a mixture of these options.
    • It is an offense to make a false claim in order to claim credit.
    • When ordering using a Rix Pre-Payment Plan If your account balance does not cover the full order value, the outstanding amount must be paid at the time of order.
    • If the Direct Debit is cancelled at anytime then any outstanding balances will be due for payment in full immediately. All direct debits are covered by the direct debit guarantee.
