ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS
Art = Healing is open to all US and International artists working in most media. Artists from NY's Hudson Valley and the NY Metropolitan regions are encouraged to submit art. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
Selection of artists will be made by Emerge Gallery director and curator Robert Langdon, ShoutOut Executive Director, Suzanne Bennett, and ShoutOut Associate Director Christa Huffman Mattia, in consultation with Linda Mary Montano. Acceptance will be determined by artistic excellence, adherence to theme, and compatibility with other works in the exhibition. Artists chosen to participate will be featured in a group exhibit at The Lamb Center in Saugerties, NY. The work will also be exhibited and available to view and purchase on the Emerge Gallery shop on Artsy https://www.artsy.net/emerge-gallery-ny.
All works in the exhibit must be for sale. Emerge Gallery, ShoutOut, Lamb Center will share a 50% commission on all sales with the remaining 50% paid to the artist. Retail sale price is determined by the artist in consultation with the curator.
There is a fee $25 submission fee to submit work, which will help greatly in funding this project. The cost of shipping art work (including return shipment) will be the sole responsibility of the artist. Work not collected 60 days after the close of the exhibition becomes the property of Emerge Gallery and ShoutOut and will be donated.
