We love our parent volunteers! We have many ways that you can help so there is something for everyone. Mom, Dad, and even Grandparents can volunteer with the band. The more the merrier.

You can give as little, or as much, time as you would like so please let us know what areas you would be interested in helping with by filling out the form below. We would love to have you join the fun.

**MISD requires ALL volunteers to submit a background check EVERY YEAR before volunteering for activities** We will send out the registration link as soon as MISD makes it available.

SUMMER BAND

COLORGUARD / WINTERGUARD

This position will work closely with the Guard Director & Booster Club Board.
HOMECOMING

I can help make mums and garters for our Senior band membersI have a convertible car that I can let the band use for the homecoming paradeI know someone who has a convertible car that the band can use for the homecoming paradeI can help band students put on their mums/garters before the paradeI can help serve water to the band in the gym at the end of the parade
OUT OF TOWN TRIPS

I would like to chaperone out of town games/contests/tripsI can donate peanut free snacks for tripsI can donate bottled waters for tripsI am a nurse or have first aid training and am willing to help at games/contests.
PLATOON PARENT - This position will be similar to a room parent. You will work with the Band Boosters to help find chaperones for various activities, be the eyes & ears of your section for the Directors, help coordinate section activities, help find section volunteers to wash uniforms, etc. If you are interested in this position please fill in the section you would like to help with.
