    Course Overview

    This “Vehicle and Machinery Banksmen Safety Course” aims to provide the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to persons carrying out vehicle Banksman duties. By the end of the course, participants should be able to :

    Ensure the safe passage of reversing vehicles in confined areas.
    Identify areas of danger within the site.
    Guide all vehicles/machinery excavator’s rigid and articulated lorry using recommended codes of signals.
    Course Content

    Banks man -Introduction
    Roles and responsibilities of the Banksman
    Legal Requirements in relation to workplace machineries, vehicles
    Risks involved in Banksman operations
    Different types of vehicles, machineries and plants used in the working
    area and their blind spots
    Safe operations and Banksman Code of signals
    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used for Banksman Job
    Emergency Prepardness
    Course Duration:4 hours (Including Examination 15 Minutes)

    Qualification or experience of facilitators:

    A facilitator and assessor of this course will possess the following:

    Specialist Diploma in WSH
    Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification.
    At least 3 years of working experience in relevant industry.
    Class Size: Maximum 20

    Facilitator/Learner Ratio: 1:20 for Theory Lesson & Assessment

    Course Attendance: 100% Attendance

    Written Examinations:

    Duration : 15 Minutes
    10 MCQ ( One Marks Each)
    Pass Mark for Written Exam: 60%

    Certification:

    Based on the successful completion of the course and assessment, a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass from Ensure safe consultancy Pte. Ltd. will be awarded to the trainee.

    1.       REGISTRATION: Application submission can be done at our office, via fax (69777350), email (training@ensuresafe.sg), or online at www.ensuresafe.sg. All information provided must be true and accurate.

    2.       PAYMENT: Payment can be made by cash or cheque only.

    3.       CANCELLATION: Notice of cancellation must be submitted at least 3 working days before the course commences. 75% of the course fee will be refunded. No refunds will be given if cancellation is made less than 3 working days before course commencement.

    4.       REPLACEMENT / POSTPONEMENT: Replacement or postponement requests must be made at least 3 working days in advance. Replacement incurs a $10 charge; postponement incurs a $30 charge. Full details of the new participant must be provided for replacements.

    5.       COURSE CHANGES: Ensure Safe Consultancy Pte Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances.

    6.       CERTIFICATION: A certificate will be issued upon successful course completion (for worker courses, a pass will be issued). Certificates must be collected within 1 month of the exam date.

    7.       LANGUAGE: Ensure Safe Consultancy Pte Ltd is not liable for issues arising from incorrect language selection. Trainees must ensure they are proficient in the language selected during registration.

    8.       CONSENT TO DISCLOSE TRAINING RECORDS: In compliance with WSH Council’s directive and PDPA regulations, trainees must provide consent for their personal data and training records to be uploaded to the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) Training Record System (TRS).
