Thee See Pack Servant Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Cedric D Pack who, on April 2, 2023, sadly lost his life in a trucking accident heading to work.
Each year a $2,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to one promising Jackson State University student.
To be considered for the Scholarship applicants must be a current or incoming student at Jackson State University. They must be well-rounded individuals who demonstrate a significant commitment of volunteer service to their community.
Applicants are required to submit an essay on the following topic:
Analyze the relationship between mental health and community service engagement.
Scholarship recipients are expected to use their resources wisely, and uphold a high standard of conduct. They also must submit proof of attendance or admission to Jackson State University.
Thee See Pack Servant Scholarship award is an outright grant. Although recipients are under no obligation to make repayment, it is hoped that once graduated and engaged in a productive career/trade they will help honor the memory of Cedric D Pack by giving future students a similar financial opportunity.

Thee See Pack Foundation process: Applications must be submitted online. ALL required attachments must be submitted at the same time your application is submitted. DO NOT submit materials separately. Only those applications completed correctly will be given consideration.
Deadline for filing is June 30, 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Your application will be reviewed by members of the Scholarship Committee and the fund holder. Selection will be based on a student’s essay and JSU attendance.
