At Beacon College, we value "Experiential Learning" in all academic settings both on and off campus. Experiential Learning encourages students to leverage real-world, practical experiences that can support their short and long-term career goals. These opportunities include internships, job shadowing, apprenticeships, specific part-time jobs or volunteer work related to your major, minor or career goals.

Directions:

Step 1: Student will complete this form prior to starting any experiential learning opportunity you wish to use towards your minimum 80 hour experiential learning ("internship") graduation requirement.

Step 2: After submission, your Career Advisor will reach out to you within 48 business hours to schedule your Pre-Approval Appointment at the Career Center.

Reminder: Submitting this form does NOT automatically approve your Experiential Learning opportunity. Only your Career Advisor can approve your application during your Pre-Approval Appointment. Pre-Approval Appointments can be made year-round as opportunities arise on Handshake.
