2024 BUILD HER All-Girl Computer Science Camp

HER Academy Computer Science All-Girl Summer Camps 2024

A one-week program of fun-filled exploration of computer science. You may choose between half-day and full-day options. In both options, your daughter will be challenged in computational thinking to decompose problems, recognize patterns, understand abstract concepts, and more! In our BUILD (Bravery, Understanding, Imagination, Leadership, and Determination) curriculum, we help girls cultivate problem solving skills and increase their confidence both in and out of the classroom. In the full-day option, girls reinforce their learning, show mastery, and develop leadership skills by serving as mentors to younger students in our elementary camp. Open to all girls rising into grades 6th through 8th. No previous computer science experience required! Returning HER Academy campers rising into 5th grade may choose to sign up for the middle school camp or may choose to sign up for both this and the elementary school camp, provided they take them in order. Camps will be held at Columbus School for Girls, 65 S Drexel Ave, Columbus, OH 43209. If you have any questions, please email info@theheracademy.org.
