2023-24 Sunday School Volunteer Registration

Sunday School begins September 10, 2023 from 9:05-10:20am

For 3K-5th grade students

Volunteers are needed from 8:45-10:30am

Sunday School volunteers and students will check in and check out in the Fellowship Hall. Large group times will be led by a member of HCL's Children’s Ministry Team, with the assistance of volunteers. Small group activities will led by the Children's Ministry Team and volunteers.

As part of Large Group times, the students will be rehearsing for God’s House Kids! Those will be special Sundays (approximately once per month) where the entire Sunday School program will be worshiping in the Sanctuary with their families and called up to lead part of the worship service. We’d love for volunteers to worship in the Sanctuary with us on those Sundays, assisting as needed.

Photo/Video: During Sunday School, photos and/or videos will be taken to share the joy of Jesus on social media platforms and in worship. If you do not want your photo/videos captured and shared in those ways, please send a written request to the Children's Ministry Director, Bethany Dillon (bdillon@hcl.org).

The Sunday School students will be participating in service projects throughout the year. Thrivent Action Team money supports all of our projects. Each Thrivent member has access to up to two $250 gift cards for service projects each year. If you have a Thrivent account and would be willing to share the blessing of your Thrivent Action Team money, please indicate below. We will contact you with details on how to apply.
