Payment is DUE at the time of service. We DO NOT offer credit or payment plans.
We Accept CASH, VISA, MASTERCARD, DEBIT CARDS, AND CHECKS.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate Walk-In Appointments or Provide Emergency Services. We encourage all our clients to also Establish Care with an Emergency Veterinarian in the unfortunate event that these services are necessary. Our Front Desk team can offer suggestions on potential solutions.
We will see your pet by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We would appreciate a call one week in advance to schedule and a 24-hour cancelation notice.
If you cancel an appointment with less than 24-hour notice, it will be considered a no-show. All no-shows will result in a $25.00 charge placed on the account.
Also, any returned check will result in a $50 convenience fee being placed on the client account balance.
All client balances that are 90 days past due will have a finance charge of 4.5% per month will be added, along with any other fees associated with the collection of your delinquent account. Further services will be denied until your balance is paid in full. Any unpaid accounts are sent to Frank Huff Agency, Inc. and can affect one’s credit for up to 10 years. Should your account be sent to collections, Big Island Pet Care Center can no longer be of service to you or your pets.
It is our expectation that we perform a physical exam on each pet, once per year. If it has been more than a year that we have seen your pet, we will be unable to provide any support or sell any products until we see are able to perform an exam.
Please allow up to 48 hours to fill any prescription request, including Heartworm prevention. If we are unable to confirm consistent heartworm prevention, the Doctor may require a Heartworm Test or Physical Exam before filling. One of our team member’s will call you when the prescription is ready to be picked up.
