The Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario Food Experience Survey assesses the affordability, accessibility, and availability of food to post-secondary students on Ontario campuses. Along with measuring student food security, the survey investigates the student response to campus food services. The goal of this survey is to locate the precise food-related problems that are affecting students, and explore the needs and wants of students in solving these problems.

The information collected from this survey will be used to create a Federation report and toolkit on student food security and access. No information will be shared with outside sources until the publication of this report. All submissions will remain confidential and anonymous.

The Federation recognizes that discussions around food often carry with them notions of health that are rooted in white supremacist, ableist, fatphobic ideals. Because of this, we avoid asking questions about whether students have access to healthy food, and instead focus on enjoyability, diversity, and well-being.
