It is with great pleasure that Angelo Gioè, director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne, invites you and a guest to attend the opening night of Tools For After, a Festival of Ideas.
Tools For After is a six-week festival that celebrates Italian ingenuity, focusing on exploring innovative solutions to the critical challenges due to the significant impact of human activities on the Earth's ecosystems and geology. The festival asks the question, what are the tools we will need to face the future?
The exhibition delves into the realm of natural and biotechnological materials, showcasing the work of Italian artists from TFA’s Design and Architecture program. Additionally, it presents a curated selection of projects by prominent Italian scientists who are dedicated to addressing the challenges of the Anthropocene era and envisioning a sustainable future.
Guests include Claudia Nguyen, Mayor for City of Yarra, and other special guests to be announced.
Drinks and canapes will be served.
