ACTE Affiliate Organization Member Application

Thank you for your investment in the future of career and technical education. Becoming an ACTE National Affiliate Organization member shows your organization’s commitment to the field and its support of the Association. As an ACTE National Affiliate Organization member, your organization can designate one individual as a key contact.

This person will receive all the benefits of a professional ACTE member and serve as the liaison between ACTE and the organization. ACTE National Affiliate Organization membership is $500.**

Eligibility

National Affiliate Organization membership is available to any not-for-profit organizations that have a professional interest in activities that foster the improvement and expansion of career and technical education.The Board of Directors, in approving affiliation, establishes the following criteria for National Affiliate Organization membership.
- The organization must be an association that has a professional interest in activities that foster the improvement and expansion of career and technical education.
- The constitution, bylaws and policies shall not be in conflict with the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws or Operating Policies of ACTE.
- The organization’s program activities must show evidence of support for ACTE’s program activities.
- The Board of Directors shall have the final say should there be a question of an organization meeting the above criteria.

* The key contact will receive a complimentary ACTE membership and are required to join their state association if they are located in a unified state (AL, AK, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, GA, HI, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WV, and the Bahamas and Guam chapters.)

Notes: In the event that the key contact of an affiliate located in a unified state does not join their state association, they will receive member benefits with the exception of voting and AD&D insurance, and they are not included in their state’s membership totals. ** ACTE dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for U.S. federal income tax purposes but may be deductible as a business expense.
