We are grateful that you can join us this September! BJEP is honored to be hosting Rabbi Berkman for High Holidays, carrying on the legacy of and supported by the Sunday School for Jewish Studies (SSJS). This brief RSVP form means you are steps away from joining our joyful and welcoming services. We will be hosting multi-access services this year, both on the Brandeis University campus and on Zoom link for you to join from the comfort of your home. We look forward to reflecting on the year together with you and your family.
Service Schedule:
September 16:
Rosh Hashanah Children's Experience, 9:30-10:30am (A music-filled, fun, and engaging way to experience Rosh Hashanah, for ages 0-8.)
Rosh Hashanah Morning Service, 10:30am-12:15pm
September 24:
Kol Nidre / Yom Kippur Evening, 7:00-8:00pm
September 25:
Yom Kippur Children's Experience, 9:30-10:30am (A music-filled, fun, and engaging way to experience Rosh Hashanah, for ages 0-8.)
Yom Kippur Morning Service, 10:30am-12:30pm
Once you complete this form, your confirmation will arrive via email with location details on the Brandeis campus. Zoom details will be sent closer to the date of the services, and a reminder within one hour of the service.
Other Notes
- Your family is welcome to join us for all services, and we look forward to welcoming you.
- We also offer a child activity room as an alternative or for those who want to take a break from services (for a small additional donation). Available from 10:20 in advance of both morning services.
- First time attending our services? No problem. Our services are inclusive, combine English and Hebrew, and use prayer books donated by NYC's Central Synagogue. We even provide an opportunity for you to blow your own shofar (if you wish, your choice...).
- We follow Brandeis guidelines around Covid safe protocols, and in the event of a change to protocol, we may need to move all services online.
- At the end of Rosh Hashanah services, we invite you to stay for a short kiddush, and if Zooming in, please bring your juice/wine, challah/crackers of your choice.
