Shadow Lake Park – Community Feedback

On Aug. 1, 2023, a design of the future 70-acre park land at Shadow Lake was presented to the Redevelopment Commission. This survey is one of several opportunities for Charlestown residents to give feedback on the renderings and concept.

Located off High Jackson Road, Shadow Lake park land is less than a mile from Charlestown Middle School. The vision of the park came through various stakeholder meetings, the land donor, steering committee, high school students, and youth activities directors.

There will be in-person public listening sessions:

Saturday, Sept. 16 from 4-6 p.m. at Community Days Festival at the City's Booth in front of City Hall

Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 6-8 p.m. at the Arts & Enrichment Center (999 Water Street)

Thursday, Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Arts & Enrichment Center (999 Water Street)
