    The CPAM Board of Directors recognizes that actors/students are passionate about the performing arts and the growth of our organization.  To allow more input into the path of CPAM going forward, a Student Advisory Board is being put into place to allow actors/students to advise the CPAM Board of Directors on productions, camps, classes and other activities & opportunities they would like to see going forward. 
  • Student Advisory Board Roles and Responsibilities

    I understand that:

    - The Student Advisory Board advises the CPAM Board of Directors on:

    o   Fundraisers, Promotional activities, Marketing

    o   Classes or camps

    o   Recommendations for upcoming season/show productions

    o   Other items pertaining to performing arts

    - While the Student Advisory Board makes recommendations, it does not mean that recommendations will be adopted by the CPAM Board of Directors.

    - All recommendations and decisions made by the Student Advisory Board and CPAM Board of Directors are confidential and should not be discussed with anyone outside of these groups.

    o   Instances where discussions are found to be discussed outside of the groups will result in removal from the Student Advisory Board.

    - All recommendations should be age appropriate for our target demographics. (Teen, Middle School, Elementary, All Ages, Family Friendly)

    - If there are any instances of disciplinary action during a CPAM production, camp or class, participation on the Student Advisory Board may be revoked.

    - Any issues should be reported to the Student Advisory Board Advisor or the CPAM Board of Directors President.

    - There is no compensation for participating in the Student Advisory Board and no preferential treatment will be given during auditions or productions.

    - Appointments to the Student Advisory Board will last for 11 months, beginning each year on Feb 1 thru Dec 31. Members must re-apply at the end of each term.

  • Commitment

    - Monthly meeting with the Student Advisory Group, either in person or via Zoom

    - Active participation in discussions

    - Presentation to the CPAM Board of Directors with recommendations

    -Parental/Guardian agreement of participation

  • Once received, an interview may be set up with Student Advisory Advisors to review application.
