Student Advisory Board Roles and Responsibilities
I understand that:
- The Student Advisory Board advises the CPAM Board of Directors on:
o Fundraisers, Promotional activities, Marketing
o Classes or camps
o Recommendations for upcoming season/show productions
o Other items pertaining to performing arts
- While the Student Advisory Board makes recommendations, it does not mean that recommendations will be adopted by the CPAM Board of Directors.
- All recommendations and decisions made by the Student Advisory Board and CPAM Board of Directors are confidential and should not be discussed with anyone outside of these groups.
o Instances where discussions are found to be discussed outside of the groups will result in removal from the Student Advisory Board.
- All recommendations should be age appropriate for our target demographics. (Teen, Middle School, Elementary, All Ages, Family Friendly)
- If there are any instances of disciplinary action during a CPAM production, camp or class, participation on the Student Advisory Board may be revoked.
- Any issues should be reported to the Student Advisory Board Advisor or the CPAM Board of Directors President.
- There is no compensation for participating in the Student Advisory Board and no preferential treatment will be given during auditions or productions.
- Appointments to the Student Advisory Board will last for 11 months, beginning each year on Feb 1 thru Dec 31. Members must re-apply at the end of each term.
