Only one form per child (updated each year)
  • Tuition Agreement 2024-2025

The registration fee is the only fee initially accepted and non-refundable. After that once your child has a spot and you are confirmed, 1st month's tuition is due as well and is non- refundable. Why is this? Classes have a limited number of spaces. Once a class fills, we start a waitlist. Often, by the time a space becomes available upon a student dis-enrolling, those students on the waitlist have made other arrangements, and that spot may go unfilled. Because our costs for staffing, housing, utilities, etc. remain the same regardless of the number of students, we must ensure classes are filled to the best of our ability. For this reason, please ensure you are certain of program you are selecting. If space permits, you might have the option of switching to a different program, but there is no guarantee of this.

I understand that my child's space for Preschool for the 2024-2025 school year and/or holiday programming and summer programming 2025 is secured with payment of the registration fee and first month's tuition for the Kiddie Krafts preschool program elected above, and that these fees are non-refundable and non- transferrable regardless of circumstance.

I understand that the tuition fees outlined above for the 2024-2025 school year are the same rate each month from September through May, regardless of the number of school days in any given month. We are a school and not a daycare therefore we have breaks that are filled in with camps for a separate fee. I have received a copy of the school year calendar and reviewed the holiday schedule. I understand that days possibly missed due to inclement weather are not made-up.

I understand that if dis-enrolling from the Preschool program, I must give one month's notice, and that tuition will not be altered until that month long period has passed. For example, if I give notice of dis-enrolling mid-October, I will still be billed for November's tuition, after which billing would cease.

I understand that tuition must be paid each month from my child's start date through the end of the school year term, unless providing notice to vacate as outlined above, and that failure to pay any month of tuition will forfeit my child's space.

I understand that Kiddie Krafts preschool does not allow for make-up days because of the way the curriculum is structured, and the need for the teacher to have students follow a consistent class program schedule.

I have read the terms above, and understand the tuition fees for the Preschool program and options I have elected.

Payment is accepted through Procare and check.

    (3) Redirecting behavior using positive statements; and

    (4) Using brief supervised separation or time out from the group, when appropriate for the child’s age and development, which is limited to no more than one minute per year of the child’s age.

  • 2024-2025 Attendance Guidelines Acknowledgement

Your child must be able to happily participate in a group setting before returning to Kiddie Krafts.

Kiddie Krafts is a well-child care facility. This means that if your child is not feeling well, for any reason, you will need to find alternate care. Please do not bring your child if he/she has a contagious illness or exhibits any of the following symptoms:

    Oral, rectal, or armpit temperature of 100.0 degrees or greater accompanied by behavior changes or other signs of symptoms of illness; Vomiting, in excess of typical infant spit-ups; Diarrhea (regardless of cause); Conjunctivitis ("pink eye"); Constant cough; Consistent complaints of ear, throat or stomach pain; Bleeding other than minor cuts and scrapes; Excessive greenish nasal discharge, indicating possible infection; Head lice; Undiagnosed or contagious rash;

If your child is diagnosed with a communicable disease, a note from a health care worker (physician) will be required prior to readmission to our program, per Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Kiddie Krafts requires your child to be fever and symptom free for at least 24 hours, without the use of medication, before returning to the school. The school may override a doctors note at times to help prevent the spreading of illnesses.

In general, if your child is too sick to go outside and play, then your child is too sick to attend school. If your child suffers from seasonal allergies (slight cough, sneezing, and/or a clear runny nose), your child may attend school. However, if your child reaches a point when he/she requires constant attention, will not play, cries continuously, whines and/or wants to be held constantly, you will be asked to pick up your child immediately.

If local, state, or federal (CDC) agencies issue a warning regarding the spread and/or prevention of an illness, Kiddie Krafts will follow the more stringent of the warnings and recommend that you adhere to the guidelines, as well.

Your signature below indicates receipt of, and acknowledgement of, the Kiddie Krafts Attendance Guidelines and your agreement to adhere to these policies.

  • Infant Feeding and Sleep Form (0-12months only)

  • Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) requires that parents provide feeding instructions for children not yet ready for table food. These instructions must be reviewed and updated every 30 days until the child is able to eat table food.

  • Sleeping Instructions: TDFPS states that infants not yet able to turn over on their own must sleep, placed in a face-up sleeping position, unless the child's parent presents written documentation from a health-care professional stating that a different sleeping position is allowed or will not harm the infant.

All infants at Kiddie Krafts will always be placed on their backs to sleep.

  • Operational Policy on Infant Safe Sleep

  •  This form provides the required information per minimum standards $746.501(9) and $747.501(6) for the safe sleep policy.

Directions: Parents will review this policy upon enrolling their infant at Kiddie Krafts and a copy of the policy is provided in the parent handbook. Parents can review information on safe sleep and reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Sudder Unexpected Infant Death (SIDS/SUIDS) at: http://www.healthychildren.org/English/ages- stages/baby/sleep/Pages/A-Parents-Guide-to-Safe-Sleep.aspx Safe Sleep Policy

All staff, substitute staff, and volunteers at Kiddie Krafts will follow these safe sleep recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for infants to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS/SUIDS). Always put infants to sleep on their backs unless you provide an Infant Sleep Exception Form 2710 signed by the infant's health care professional [§746.2427 and $747.2327]. Place infants on a firm mattress, with a tight fitting sheet, in a crib that meets the CPSC federal requirements for full-size cribs and for non-full size cribs [§746.2409 and $747.2309]. For infants who are younger than 12 months of age, cribs should be bare except for a tight fitting sheet and a mattress cover or protector. Items that should not be placed in a crib include: soft or loose bedding, such as blankets, quilts, or comforters; pillows; stuffed toys/animals; soft objects; bumper pads; liners; or sleep positioning devices [§746.2415 and $747.2315]. Also, infants must not have their heads, faces, or cribs covered at any time by items such as blankets, linens, or clothing [§746.2429 and $747.2329]. Do not use sleep positioning devices, such as wedges or infant positioners. The AAP has found no evidence that these devices are safe. Their use may increase the risk of suffocation [§746.2415 and $747.2315]. Ensure that sleeping areas are ventilated and at a temperature that is comfortable for a lightly clothed adult [§746.3407(10) and $747.3203(10)]. If an infant needs extra warmth, they may use a sleep sack NO SWADDLE as an alternative to blankets [§746.2415 and $747.2315]. Place only one infant in a crib to sleep [§746.2405 and $747.2305]. Infants may use a pacifier during sleep. But the pacifier must not be attached to a stuffed animal or the infant's clothing by a string, cord, or other attaching mechanism that might be a suffocation or strangulation risk [§746.2415 and $747.2315]. If the infant falls asleep in a restrictive device other than a crib (such as a bouncy chair or swing, or arrives to care asleep in a car seat), move the infant to a crib immediately, unless you provide an Infant Sleep Exception Form 2710 signed by the infant's health-care professional [§746.2426 and $747.2326]. Our child care program is smoke-free. Smoking is not allowed in Texas child care operations (this includes e-cigarettes and any type of vaporizers) [§746.3703(d) and $747.3503(d)]. Actively observe sleeping infants by sight and sound [§746.2403 and $747.2303]. If an infant is able to roll back and forth from front to back, place the infant on the infant's back for sleep and allow the infant to assume a preferred sleep position [§746.2427 and $747.2327]. Awake infants will have supervised "tummy time" several times daily. This will help them strengthen their muscles and develop normally [§746.2427 and $747.2327]. Do not swaddle an infant for sleep or rest unless you provide an Infant Sleep Exception Form 2710 signed by the infant's health care professional [§746.2428 and $747.2328].
