Welcome! If you are a Sikh college student in California, sign up to become a 2023-2024 member of the Jakara Movement Chapter.

The mission of the Jakara Movement Chapter (JMC) is to build a Sikh political campus voice through strengthening the power of Sikh and disenfranchised communities via civic engagement, strategic grassroots mobilization, and awakening based on vichaar (reflection), karam (action), seva, sangat, simran, shaheedi, and santokh. We are inclusive of all and committed to travel this path together in nimrata (humility) and daya (compassion).
