This is a month long walk whereby you record your steps each day and see if by the end of the month you can be walking close to 10,000 steps. This is the recommendation for healthy livers, hearts and lifestyles. The main purpose of this walk is to build the habit of walking over a 4 week time period so you have a foundation to continue with through the rest of the year.
If you are on a team, make sure your team members know the name of their team as they sign up to be a part of this virtual month long walk. A calendar will be sent to everyone signed up at the end of September so you can keep a log of your daily step count. Need help with the count, then check out some of our Celebrity walkers videos to help you get your steps in. Those that raise over $40.00 will get a free t-shirt and those that increase their steps during the month will be entered into drawing for " Gift Cards". The funds raised from the walk will help us to build our patient services committee statewide funds in each of the 6 states for patient needs.
