Thank you so much for agreeing to write a guest post for us about your nursing experience.
Guest posts will be published on the uPaged blog and may be used (in part or whole) on other uPaged digital and print mediums.
As explained in our call out, we’re looking for nurses to share their experience of nursing (you don’t have to have worked for uPaged) by writing a guest post for uPaged to share with other nurses who are contemplating work as a regular or occasional agency nurse, a career casual, regular term contractor, pool or bank nurse, travel nurse, or rural and remote nurse.
We’re particularly interested in learning about the pros and cons of your experience, what it takes to be able to do the extra shifts, and how it’s helped or hindered your career, enhanced your skills and/or broadened your horizons.
The good, the bad, and the ugly! Whatever your nursing lifestyle, we’d love to hear from you.
OUR ASKS:
All work must be original, never been published before and AI must not have been used.
The article must be 1200 words or more. You can read our full terms and conditions here
Below are some questions and ideas that we hope will help guide your writing. If you find it easier, feel free to answer the question prompts, however, you are very welcome to take the lead with your own format and write your story as you wish.
PAYMENT:
Payment is in the form of uCoin. We’ll credit your uPaged account with 1,000 uCoin for your original story. Include a relevant photo to your story and experience (for example, a photo of you, of your favourite nursing workplace, or your team) and we’ll credit you with a bonus 500 uCoin.
TOP TIPS:
1) You can write direct into this form on any device.
2) Not keen on writing? You can dictate your article / responses. Treat the question prompts like an interview, and use the dictation feature / speech-to-text feature on your mobile phone to write your responses for you!
Learn how to do this on an iPhone here, or on android here
3) You can come back to this form link any time to edit and update it, up until the time your press submit at the end. Want to have a break and return to write later? Scroll to the end of this page and follow the instructions to SAVE your work in progress. Only press submit when you are finished and have no other content to add.
PURPOSE OF THE BLOG:
Let’s face it, Nurses do the most incredible work, and everyone has a story to tell.
We want to hear yours - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the extraordinary - and share it with other nurses who are contemplating work as a regular or occasional agency nurse, a career casual, regular term contractor, pool or bank nurse, travel nurse, or rural and remote nurse.
Raw and real are fine. It’s your story - we want to hear it in your words.
