To Park at Stanley Head you require both a Swipe-card for the barrier and a Stanley Head sticker to be displayed in your vehicle. The Swipe-card is a once only purchase, the Sticker is an annual renewal. Both items can be purchased via this form.

SAFETY WARNING
Please take very great care when travelling in your vehicle on this site. There are large numbers of very excited children running about who aren’t expecting to see a moving vehicle. You must be extremely vigilant and ready to react to the unexpected.

MAXIMUM SPEED is 5 mph.

Under no circumstances must you walk through the site.

You must travel through the site with your doors and windows closed; under no circumstances must you speak to any of the children.

If you take anyone on site with you, you must ensure that they have no spent or unspent criminal convictions or awaiting court proceedings in relation to child protection or vulnerable adult issues.

To use the car park (at your own risk) you must ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:-
1.     Car park only available 7.0 am or sunrise whichever is later until times displayed on notice on the car park
2.     If the site entrance gate is locked, unlock it, take your vehicle onto the access road and then relock the gate behind you; ensure that you are displaying your parking sticker.
3.     Slowly proceed to the barrier; if it is in operation you will need to use your swipe card. If it is down but not in operation walk to the adjacent office and prove who you are.
4.     Turn right just past the barrier (do not go straight ahead as this is a very busy crossing place for children) and then turn left past the back of the building and proceed slowly down the track towards the Reservoir.
5.     Park your vehicle in the car park area sensibly so that it does not cause an obstruction.
6.     Proceed, on foot, directly to the water.
7.     Please remember that you must not fish in the area marked by the white posts as this is the launching area for the boats.
At the end of your fishing session please leave the site by the same route.

We have had various negotiations over many years to acquire parking for our Members at Stanley Reservoir. Please respect these conditions for the benefit of all.
