ENROLMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. By submitting this enrolment form you agree that you have read and understood the enrolment terms and conditions and state that you accept these terms and conditions including the payment plan terms and conditions listed herewith.
2. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Students must submit 100% of all coursework submissions in order to pass this course. Students who do not submit assessments and do not arrange deferrals or extensions will have their training courses cancelled on or after the course finish date, with no course fee refund being available.
4. Deferrals: Students who cannot participate in the course due to illness or other extenuating circumstances may be able to defer to a later course date, at the Mindful Institute's discretion.
5. In the unlikely event we are unable to deliver the course due to circumstances beyond our control, the course may be put on hold and deferred to a later date, which will be as soon as possible.
6. Class cancellations: In the very unlikely event that a class needs to be deferred due to circumstances beyond our control, students will be notified via email with as much notice as possible.
7. Any student who uses behaviour that is offensive, upsetting, aggressive or disruptive to the class may be expelled after two warnings which have been issued in writing, outlining the nature of the inappropriate behaviour. If a student is expelled, no refund of any course fees already paid will be available, and no graduation certificates will be issued.
8. Course Fees and Payment Plans: If paying the course fee in full, this fee must be paid on enrolment. If choosing to pay via weekly instalments through the payment plan option, the deposit must be paid on enrolment, and weekly instalments then need to be paid either by the student setting up a direct debit, or via Mindful Institute's payment portal, Stripe. If the latter is chosen, the credit card used to pay the initial deposit will be directly charged each week until the course fee is paid off in full. If students would like to nominate a different credit card, they are to let Mindful Institute know in advance so this can be set up via Stripe. Students who do not maintain regular course fee payments, will not be able to continue to attend classes or have coursework assessed. Payment plan payments begin on the week following the deposit payment, unless otherwise agreed in advance between the student and Mindful Institute.
9. Course Refund Policy: Refunds are considered under the following extenuating circumstances:
Illness that stops a student being able to complete the course
If a student is not able to continue their course due to illness, a refund request needs to be submitted within 30 days from the date of illness confirmation and a valid medical certificate or documentation from a healthcare professional is provided as proof of illness. Refunds will not be issued for courses completed or partially completed before the illness.
In cases of temporary illness, students may request a suspension of their course until they are able to resume their studies. Alternatively, an extension period may be considered.
Cooling off period or dissatisfaction with the course
Mindful Institute offers a 14-day cooling off period starting from the day of enrolment. A refund request must be submitted within 14 days from the date of course enrolment. The student must not have accessed more than 20% of the course content.
To initiate a refund, please contact us at study@mindfulinstitute.education with your request and we will respond within 7 business days.
If the refund request meets the eligibility criteria, the refund will be processed minus a 15% administration fee. No refunds will be issued after 30 days of the course enrolment date.
10. We will always do our best to assist students to complete the course and may offer alternatives in some extreme circumstances, to assist students with financial difficulty, however, this cannot be guaranteed in all situations. Please talk to us if you need further information or assistance. Places cannot be held for enrolments submitted without accompanying payment.

14. Fees are in Australian Dollars, including any Payment Plan payments.
