- Approval to bring and provide Prepared Foods (in alignment with market guidelines)

- A Presenter’s Badge  ( The ability to share ideas, resources, initiatives, and upcoming events during the market )

- Official recognition as a Resource Host ( You are approved to offer essential community support such as housing assistance, transportation coordination, clothing and shoe distribution, field trip activities, health and wellness services, and other needed provisions that strengthen our Big Island community.)

Membership Terms & Community Standards

By participating as a Member, Presenter, Vendor, or Resource Host within the EEVH Trade & Barter Market, you agree to uphold the following standards:

1. Commitment to Peace & Respect

- Engage with kindness, patience, and mutual respect
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, aggression, or disruptive behavior
- Honor cultural sensitivity and the diverse backgrounds of participants
- Address disagreements constructively and privately when possible

2. Good Faith & Honest Intent

- Represent themselves, their services, and their goods truthfully
- Engage in trade or exchange with integrity
- Avoid deceptive practices, false claims, or misrepresentation
- Communicate clearly regarding expectations and agreements

3. Professionalism & Presentation
Members serving as Presenters or Resource Hosts agree to:

- Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner
- Present ideas and offerings clearly and responsibly
- Arrive prepared for scheduled participation
- Maintain appropriate attire and conduct for a public community setting
- The Market is community-oriented but held to high standards.

4. Fair Trade Practices

- Honor agreed-upon exchanges and barter terms
- Avoid exploitative pricing or unfair advantage
- Clearly communicate the value and condition of goods/services
- Follow all applicable local and state guidelines when required

5. Safety & Health Practices

- Follow all applicable health and safety regulations
- Ensure prepared foods comply with local guidelines
- Provide safe, appropriate, and lawful services
- Maintain a physically and emotionally safe space for participants

6. Reliability & Accountability

- Show up on time for scheduled participation
- Notify organizers in advance if unable to attend
- Fulfill commitments made to other members
- Maintain communication regarding changes in offerings

7. Positive Energy & Community Stewardship

- Contribute constructively to the atmosphere of the Market
- Support fellow members when possible
- Avoid gossip, divisiveness, or negativity
- Uphold the Market as a regenerative and uplifting space

8. Presenter & Resource Host Responsibilities
Members granted a Presenter’s Badge or Resource Host approval agree to:

- Share offerings that are lawful and aligned with community wellbeing
- Avoid political campaigning, inappropriate solicitation, or coercive messaging
- Provide accurate information regarding support services offered
- Operate within ethical boundaries

*EEVH reserves the right to revoke Presenter or Host privileges if standards are not upheld.

9. Compliance with Laws
All members agree to comply with:

- Hawaiʻi state laws
- County regulations
- Applicable business and health codes

10. Membership Revocation
The EEVH Restoration Network reserves the right to:

- Suspend or revoke membership
- Remove individuals from events
- Deny future participation

If a member violates these terms or disrupts the integrity, safety, or mission of the Market.

11. Agreement
By participating in the EEVH Trade & Barter Market, members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Community Standards.
