Wander & Wonder: A Clergy Hiking Group
ACE and the Center For Clergy Excellence are partnering with the North Georgia Camp and Retreat Ministries staff to offer some guided hikes for our North Georgia United Methodist clergy. The hikes will begin at the end of September and occur monthly through December 2023. We have arranged for hikes to occur on the eastern and western parts of our conference to ease travel stress on hikers. The purpose of Wander & Wonder is to reduce clergy stress and literally move toward wellbeing.

Typical Hiking Day Schedule

9:30 Meet at the designated hiking location, welcome, introduce focus of the day

10:00 Begin hike

12:00 Group lunch (lunch provided)

1:00 Continue hike, solo time

3:00 Debrief, closing reflections

3:30 Depart to serve

Please note, if you need to leave early, you will need to make arrangements with your hiking host.

Hiking Options: We will be offering a West and an East hiking group. For continuity, we suggest that hikers participate in one cohort; however, you may sign up for the locations that work best for you. Please indicate the hikes that you would like to participate in. Click all that apply.
