Please complete this proposal form to be considered to present an NMHU FVSSW Center for Excellence in Social Work Professional Development Workshop. Presenters share their expertise with social work and behavioral health practitioners as well as social work students and educators statewide.
The Center for Excellence in Social Work prioritizes continuing education proposals that center culture and identity, address racial, social, economic, and environmental justice, and reflect the populations, cultures, and identities, community cultural wealth, strengths, and needs of those living in New Mexico. The Center welcomes workshop proposals addressing micro, mezzo, and macro topics. To learn more about the Center, visit: nmcesw.org
Professional Development Workshops are held virtually on Fridays or Saturadys with a live Zoom training and supporting Canvas page. Paid offerings are $15 per CEU credit for participants. Presenters are paid $300 for half-day (3 CEU workshops) and $600 for full-day (6 CEU workshops).
We accept applications on an ongoing basis. Please note that if accepted, most workshops will need at least an 8–10 week lead time for scheduling and marketing of the event.
