MANAGEMENT AND REPRESENTATION*

I agree that, if I am selected as a state or regional titleholder, that for one year from the day of the selection, my professional affairs as said titleholder shall be under the sole and complete management of Great Lakes Int’l LLC. or third party representation company they select and that I will not give any written or verbal endorsement of any mercantile commodity or commercial or charitable organization without obtaining specific written authority from Great Lakes Int’l LLC.

HONESTY POLICY*

I attest that all information which I have and will submit is true and accurate. I understand that falsification of information will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all prizes won to me.

CODE OF CONDUCT*

I agree to display good sportsmanship at all times. I understand that engaging in slanderous or libelous behavior, including but not limited to posting negative or inflammatory messages to the internet, harassing judges, contestants or staff in person, via telephone, mail, or email constitutes poor sportsmanship & may result in disqualification at the discretion of Great Lakes Int’l LLC.

PUBLICITY & PROMOTION*

I give Great Lakes Int’l LLC and Harrison Productions, LLC. permission to use my name, photo, likeness, voice & biographical information for purposes of publicity, advertising, and promotion in print, radio, video, on the Great Lakes Int’l LLC and Harrison Productions, LLC. websites, and in any other media and for purposes of producing promotional merchandise, including but not limited to clothing (e.g., t-shirts), posters, and other products. I understand that I am not entitled to any compensation from the sale of such products.

SELECTION OF JUDGES*

I understand and accept that Great Lakes International LLC. will appoint judges for all titles. I understand that the decision of the judges is final and non-contestable.

NON-REFUNDABLE FEE POLICY*

I understand that the pageant is a self-supporting event and that all fees paid are not refundable and not transferable in full or in part under any circumstance. This includes entry fees, ticket sales, ad sales, and any other fees paid with the exception of cancellation of the pageant.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY*

I understand and agree that: a.) Great Lakes Int’l LLC, Harrison Productions, LLC., it’s officers, employees, and pageant personnel are not responsible for accidents, injury or theft incurred at the time of the pageant or travel to and from. b.) Great Lakes Int’l LLC, and Harrison Productions, LLC., are not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of pageant sponsors, judges, or contract vendors who may be providing products or services to delegates at a Southeast Regional Pageant. c.) Great Lakes Int’l LLC, and Harrison Productions, LLC., are not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of the host venue. I HEREBY RELEASE, UNCONDITIONALLY AND FOREVER, ANY CLAIM AGAINST GREAT LAKES INT’L LLC. & HARRISON PRODUCTIONS, L.L.C. AND AFFILIATED OR RELATED COMPANIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, PARTNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND ASSIGNS, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, COSTS AND EXPENSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEY’S FEES) ARISING OUT OF, RESULTING FROM, OR BY REASON OF, MY PARTICIPATION IN OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PAGEANT INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY TRAVEL WE UNDERTAKE IN CONNECTION WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PAGEANT AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PAGEANT, OF MY APPEARANCE IN THE PAGEANT, OR ANY USE OF ANY PRIZE OR GIFT AWARDED TO ME IN CONNECTION WITH THE PAGEANT. THIS RELEASE SPECIFICALLY INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, COSTS AND EXPENSES OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM THE ACTIONS OF ANOTHER CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER THIRD PARTY AT ANY TIME. I AGREE THAT I WILL NOT BRING OR BE A PARTY TO ANY LEGAL ACTION OR CLAIM AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES, OR ANY OF THEM, BASED UPON OR ARISING OUT OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE PAGEANT OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE PAGEANT, OR ANY EXPLOITATION OF THE PAGEANT, OR ANY USE OF ANY PRIZE OR GIFT AWARDED TO ME IN CONNECTION WITH THE PAGEANT, ON ANY LEGAL THEORY WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, RIGHTS OF PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY, OR DEFAMATION.)

DISQUALIFICATION, WITHDRAWAL OR FAILURE TO COMPETE*

By submitting the entry form and entry fee, I agree to abide by all rules and policies set forth by Great Lakes International LLC. I attest that all information submitted is true and accurate. Failure to comply with Great Lakes International LLC policies may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes won without benefit of refund in full or in part at the discretion of Great Lakes Int’l LLC. I understand that Rules, Regulations and policies may change from time to time and I agree in advance to any changes or alterations without notice to me. I agree that should I resign, withdraw from competition, fail to attend the pageant, or am disqualified, that I will not make appearances or portray myself as a delegate or titleholder, and any portrayal following withdrawal or disqualification will be considered actionable fraud.
