Thank you for submitting a proposal for the Nonprofit Learning Lab In-Person Lab that will be held on March 21, 2024 from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Please note: after you submit a proposal you will immediately see a submittal confirmation pop up on your screen. Presenters will receive proposal status notification between November 18-November 22.

Venue: Temple University Student Center in Philadelphia, PA

Benefits of Presenting: There are many benefits to presenting: a) opportunities to showcase your expertise b) regional visibility and promotion specifically all presenters will be listed in the program booklet, on the NLL website and promoted in our e-newsletter, c) exposure to colleagues from various organizations and d) free admission to the institute.

Workshop Length: All workshops are 75-90 minutes in length. You will be notified of the length of your presentation when you receive an acceptance notification.

Please note: At this time, we do not compensate workshop presenters.

We receive more workshop proposals than we can accept. If your workshop proposal is accepted, you will be notified via an acceptance email. If your workshop proposal is not accepted, we will do our best to send a decline email within two months of the proposal deadline.

Attendees at the institute will include executive directors, development professionals, program directors, consultants, board members and students. We are seeking workshop that are at the intermediate and advanced level. Session slots are 65-75 minutes in length. We will let you know in advance the length of your session slot.

Workshop Information
We will select workshops that effectively address topics through clarity, originality, and practical application. Presenters are asked to provide interactive, hands-on activities that will engage the audience whenever possible. In planning your workshops, we ask the presenters create workshops that are 60% content and 40% interactive activities to engage conference attendees. Individuals can submit proposals with 1-5 presenters. If you are going to be holding a panel discussion, please explain how there will be opportunities for interaction.
