GLSEN Educator Spaces - Request to Join
GLSEN Educator Spaces are virtual forums for LGBTQ+ supportive educators to build community, share resources, and ask questions.

To ensure GLSEN Educator Spaces are secure, we require each prospective member to verify their school / district / institutional email address to join. The verification email will come from Jotform: it will not come from GLSEN or mention GLSEN. Once your school / district / institutional email address is verified, you may choose to use a different email address (such as a personal email address) to receive communications from GLSEN.

After you submit this form, expect roughly 14 days before receiving an update from us. If you are approved to join GLSEN Educator Spaces, the email address you selected for GLSEN communications (either your school OR personal email) will receive an e-invitation to create a profile in the GLSEN Portal and start getting to know other educators!

Rules of Conduct for GLSEN Educator Spaces
1. No hate speech or bullying - Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

2. Respect everyone's privacy - In GLSEN Educator Spaces, *do not share any names or personally identifying information of students, families, or colleagues*. Additionally, respect the confidentiality of other individuals in GLSEN's Educator Spaces. Stories stay, but lessons leave.

3. No irrelevant content or spam - Feel free to share and request LGBTQ+ inclusive resources! However, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.

4. This group is for school / district / public library staff - Individuals who work for schools, school districts, and public libraries are encouraged to join this group. If you are not a school, district, or public library employee, we ask you to instead engage with GLSEN through your nearest GLSEN chapter or through GLSEN's Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, or Twitter pages.

Anyone approved to GLSEN Educator Spaces who violates these rules will be removed.
