Thank you for submitting bios and photos! Bios and photos are a critical part of marketing our animals for adoption, foster and rescue. Please fill out a separate form for each animal. We will be choosing the photos and bios that fit our marketing needs the best at this current time. Not all photos and bios may be used immediately but may be used later. 

Animal Bio

Information such as the animal's breed, weight, age and "experienced with" info is automatically pulled from Chameleon. Information about adoption procedures will be added by adoption staff.

If you would like, please submit a short paragraph but only if you have something to add about the animal that hasn’t been covered above. Please avoid any negative language including phrases such as “through no fault of my own”, “heartworm positive” and “unfortunately”.

 

Photos

A picture is worth a thousand words!

To capture the best possible photo of a dog or cat, try the following:

• Use natural light as much as possible and avoid harsh sunlight.
• Use a motivator, such as a treat or a toy, to get the pet’s attention.
• Try different angles and perspectives to capture the dog's expressions and movements.
• Take the photo from eye level, not from above.
• Go for a blurry background if you have a DSLR camera or use portrait mode on your phone’s camera.

Try to include more than one view of the animal including a headshot, a full body shot and (if it’s a dog) a photo that shows how large or small the dog is.

Please no altered images.
