Booking Terms and Conditions
The purchase of your travel booking constitutes a contractual agreement between the traveler(s), customer(s), and/or purchaser(s) (collectively as "You" and "Traveler"), and Bright Lane Travels ("Bright Lane Travels ", "We", "Us") pursuant to the following terms and conditions ("Terms", "Agreement"):

Travel Consulting Services
Travel Consulting services provided by Bright Lane Travels are based on years of professional expertise, education, and industry knowledge.
Travel Consulting services may include, but are not limited to:
Destination research and personalized itinerary planning
Travel arrangements and reservation bookings
Ticketing and supplier coordination
Destination services and excursions
Travel documentation preparation
Traveler support before and during travel
Once you agree to obtain our services, a non-refundable Travel Consulting Fee will be charged as follows:
$35 for four travelers or fewer
$50 for five or more travelers
Group trip fees may vary depending on complexity
This Travel Consulting Fee is payment for professional services rendered and does not guarantee booking availability, pricing, or confirmation of travel services.
Bright Lane Travels is dedicated to providing excellent service and making every reasonable effort to ensure client satisfaction. However, travelers acknowledge that unforeseen events and circumstances such as weather, political unrest, transportation delays, or other external factors may occur that are outside the control of Bright Lane Travels.
Booking Terms & Conditions
The purchase of travel services through Bright Lane Travels constitutes a contractual agreement between the traveler(s), customer(s), and/or purchaser(s) (collectively referred to as “Traveler” or “You”) and Bright Lane Travels (“Bright Lane Travels”, “We”, “Us”) pursuant to the following Terms and Conditions.
Travel Agent Role
Bright Lane Travels acts solely as a travel agent.
We sell travel-related products on behalf of independent travel suppliers including but not limited to:
Airlines
Hotels and resorts
Cruise lines
Tour operators
Transportation providers
Car rental companies
Bright Lane Travels does not own, operate, manage, or control these independent suppliers and is not liable for their acts, omissions, negligence, or service failures.
All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual travel supplier.
Traveler acknowledges that their legal recourse is against the travel supplier and not Bright Lane Travels.
Pricing and Rate Changes
Travel prices are subject to change until full payment is received and booking is confirmed.
Prices may increase prior to final payment due to:
Supplier price changes
Currency fluctuations
Government taxes or fees
Once full payment has been received, prices will not increase except in the case of government-imposed taxes or fees beyond our control.
Deposits and Final Payments
A minimum deposit is required to confirm travel bookings.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless stated otherwise by the travel supplier.
Final payment is typically due 60 days prior to departure, unless otherwise specified.
Some travel services require full payment at time of booking.
Accepted payment methods include:
Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover)
Debit Card
Cash
Check
Cancellations
Most travel bookings are non-refundable.
Canceled bookings may incur penalties of up to 100% of the booking cost, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
If Bright Lane Travels incurs cancellation penalties from suppliers due to a client cancellation, the client agrees to indemnify Bright Lane Travels for those charges.
Changes to Bookings
Once a booking has been confirmed, Bright Lane Travels reserves the right to charge a $50 non-refundable change fee for modifications requested by the traveler.
This fee is separate from any change fees imposed by travel suppliers.
Credit Card Chargeback Policy
By submitting payment to Bright Lane Travels, the traveler agrees not to initiate or pursue a credit card chargeback for services rendered or bookings confirmed.
Chargebacks are prohibited for:
Travel consulting services
Confirmed travel bookings
Client cancellations
Failure to travel
External disruptions beyond Bright Lane Travels’ control
In the event a chargeback is initiated, the client agrees to reimburse Bright Lane Travels for:
The original payment amount
Administrative costs
Legal fees associated with recovering the funds
Force Majeure
Bright Lane Travels shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God
Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods)
War or military action
Civil unrest or political instability
Terrorism
Government travel restrictions
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Airline cancellations or transportation disruptions
In such events, refunds, credits, or rescheduling are subject to supplier policies.
Travel Insurance
Bright Lane Travels strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance to protect your investment.
Travel insurance may provide coverage for:
Trip cancellations
Travel delays
Medical emergencies
Lost baggage
Bright Lane Travels is not an insurance provider and is not responsible for processing or approving insurance claims.
Travel Documentation
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have proper documentation including:
Valid passports
Visas if required
Entry requirements for destination countries
Passports must typically be valid at least six months beyond travel dates.
Travelers are responsible for verifying entry requirements through the U.S. Department of State:

Health and Travel Requirements
Travelers are responsible for complying with health and safety requirements of destination countries including:
Vaccination requirements
Health documentation
Entry screening procedures

Responsibility
Bright Lane Travels and its employees do not own or operate any suppliers providing travel services.
All suppliers are independent contractors, and Bright Lane Travels is not responsible for:
Injuries
Delays
Loss of property
Service disruptions
Liability
Bright Lane Travels shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, accident, or irregularity caused by:
Third-party travel providers
Weather conditions
Mechanical failures
Government actions
Criminal acts or terrorism
Natural disasters
Under no circumstances shall Bright Lane Travels be liable for consequential damages or losses.
REAL ID Requirement
Beginning May 7, 2025, travelers flying within the United States must ensure their identification is REAL ID compliant.

Electronic Agreement
Travelers acknowledge that acceptance of these Terms & Conditions may occur through:
Electronic signature
Written signature
Email confirmation
Payment of invoice
Any of these actions constitute binding agreement to these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, and any disputes shall be resolved within its courts.
