Please instruct the nominated student to submit the required essay to Jill Landsman at Jlandsman@ncra.org by December 6, 2024.

Essay instructions for student:
- Essay must be 300-500 words on the topic: What technology tools, resources, and strategies will help you maintain your skills and well-being in your career? Explain what you believe are the keys to success.
- Important: Please include your name in your essay file name AND on EACH page of the essay.
- Essay must be double-spaced.

Judicial (freelance or official) - If in judicial, I verify that the student has passed at least one Q&A test at a minimum of 190 words per minute.Captioning (broadcast or CART) - If in captioning, I verify that the student has passed at least one Q&A test at a minimum of 160 words per minute.
I attest that the nominee:
- is a current NCRA student member;
- has been enrolled in a stenographic court reporting/captioning intern program consistently within the past 12 months;
- has a grade point average of at least a 3.5 overall based on a 4.0 standard or equivalent;
- possesses all the qualities exemplified by a professional court reporter/captioner, including professional attitude, demeanor, dress, and motivation as confirmed in a letter of recommendation.
