  • Itinerary for Camping Trip

    Self-Catering Glamping Pod village expereince with exclusively for 40 women. We will all work together to make this a great experience. Sister Power 😊

    No meals or drinks will be supplied

    The cost of £132.50 includes the full experience, transport, Team building activities, optional Cold dip, Yoga, sleeping x2 nights in a glamping pod and cooking outside the campsite which includes cooking equipment.

    Cooking Items included in the price. All cooking equipment will be shared with groups of 3 ladies. Items include: 

    - Camping stove & holder

    - Camping gas  

    - Pots, kettle and pan 

    - BBQ grill pan

    - Lighter 

    - Towel, sponge & small oven gloves 

    All items will be returned in the same cleaned and original condition. For any items that are not returned in this state, a charge of £50 will be applied to the individual.

     

    Friday 27th Sept 24

    3pm set off - Meeting point: Littleharwood Children Centre, Robinson Street, Blackburn, BB1 5PE (Please do not park your car at the centre as this closes at 6pm and your car could get locked in, park on the main road. Make sure you're on time as we will not be waiting for anyone. We will setting off promptly at 3pm) 

    5pm Reach the Glamping Pods Village - Due to the tight roads the 40 seater coach cannot travel to the main glamping pod area. A short walk to the glamping pods and your lugage will be driven in by the orginsaiers on site. Settle into your rooms

    6.30pm – Mandatory meeting at the fitness area and discussion on using the cooking equipment, rules and regulations and icebreaker. 

    8pm Dinner – You will need to cook you own food on the cooking equipment supplied

    9pm Short walk/Games (optional) 

    10pm Wellbeing session and story telling/fire pit gathering (optional)

    11pm Bedtime 

    (Prayer time inbetween)

     

    Saturday 28th Sept  

    8.30am - Wake up, Cook your breakfast on the cooking equipment provided (Please bring your own plate, cup and cutlery to use as this will not be provided) 

    10am - Short walk and grounding 

    12pm - Arrive at base

    12.30pm - Prepare lunch on cooking equipment provided

    2pm - Team building games and exercise in fitness area outside

    4pm - Cold dip (optional) 

    5pm - Yoga session - Yoga mat required (optional)

    7pm – Cook your own dinner on the cooking utensils provided (Please bring your own plate, cup and clutery to use as this will not be provided)

    9pm - Relax outside with hot chocolate

    10pm - wellbeing session and story telling around fire pit

    11pm - Bedtime

    Sunday 29th Sept

    8am - Wake up and prepare self-serve breakfast on the cooking equipment provided  (Please bring your own plate, cup and cutlery to use as this will not be provided)

    9am - Pack items away and clean your own pods - Please bring your luggage to the car park

    10am - Transport will arrive 

    1pm - Return back to Blackburn drop off point Littleharwood Children Centre, Robinson Street, Blackburn, BB1 5PE

    Clothing

    -          Walking trousers (not jeans as once they’re wet, they will stay wet)

    -          T-shirt

    -          Mid layer (thin, long sleeve)

    -          Fleece layer

    -          Warm top for the evening

    -          Underwear and socks!

    -          Swimwear 

    -          Warm jacket

    -          Waterproof jacket and over trousers (these are absolutely essential)

    -          Hat, gloves, scarf or buff

    -          Sturdy walking boots

    -          Trainers, wellies or flip flops for the campsite

    -          Swimming costume (optional)

    -          Wetsuit if you have one (optional)

    -          Neoprene swim socks and gloves (optional)

    -          Large towel
