Please make sure you read the below conditions of hire. You will need to sign at the bottom saying you agree to these terms.
Deposits and payments
To secure your booking a non-refundable $100 deposit is required. Your booking is not secured until payment received.
The balance of your booking is due 14 days out from hire date.
Deposit is due within 3 days from date of invoice and full payment 14 days prior to event date. Dates of when payments are due will be clearly noted on your invoice.
Cancellation
Should you cancel more than two weeks out from hire date, the non-refundable deposit remains applicable. Any further payments received above the deposit amount will be refunded. This will be processed within 7 days of cancellation.
Cancellation 8-14 days’ notice of event date 50% cancellation fee applies.
Any cancellations 7 days or less notice of event date a 100% cancellation fee applies.
Weather cancellation
MKT Party Hire has the right to cancel any Bouncy Castle or The Bubble booking due to the feather forecast for safety reasons day of or day before hire date.
With this in mind we, MKT Party Hire highly recommends having plan B if the weather conditions are not favorable on the day of your event.
If the inflatable has not been unrolled/used due to weather conditions you will be refunded in full less the $100 nonrefundable deposit which will become credit for use within 12 months of initital hire date. Refund will be processed within in 7 days.
Terms on self pick up and return to MKT HQ
All gear must be collected at the arranged time, if you do not turn up at this time then your booking may be cancelled. Return of gear must be also returned at the arranged time. If any issue you must contact us.
All Gear must come back in the same undamaged condition as it went out. We reserve the right to invoice you to pay for repair costs, damages or any item of equipment that does not get returned.
Setting up and using the Bouncy Castle or The Bubble
It is up to you to confirm with your venue, if event not held at home that inflatables are allowed onsite. No refunds will be given if this is not allowed.
Any additional charges incurred by the venue will be paid by the hirer, such as power supplies fees charged by venue.
The hirer to provide clear access to the area where the equipment is going to be set up before and after the event.
The hirer to provide 240v power supply.
The hirer to secure all dogs before setup and remove all animal droppings before setup.
The hirer to avoid mowing their lawns 3 days prior to hire - fresh grass clippings can make a very dirty inflatable
Any underground services/objects must be brought to our attention immedately prior to setting up. The hirer is responsible for any damage to any underground services caused by setup/anchoring.
It is the responsibility of the person that is hiring this Inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid damage to the Inflatable or injury to the users.
All persons using this Inflatable do so at their own risk.
Do not to allow overcrowding on the Bouncy Castle. Only so many children are allowed on at any one time as can safely use without causing danger to themselves or others. Manufactures advise a 180kg weight limit.
Our Inflatables under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can be used in wet weather.
Inflatables must be set up on firm, flat ground where it can be anchored.
Under no circumstances can the Inflatables be set up on any such ground as concrete or ashphalt. Not only will this damage the inflatable it is also due to saftey reasons as the inflatable cannot securely be anchored to the ground.
Never use if wind exceeds 28km/hr or becomes gusty. Switchoff blower immediately to prevent unsafe use.
You the hirer are responsible for any damage or the loss of our inflatables while they are hired by you. Should the inflatable be lost, stolen or damaged, the costs to replace or repair will be your responsibility.
Safety
Inflatables are used at your own risk. MKT Party Hire is not responsible for any injury that may occur to any person while the bouncy castle is in your possession.
Inflatables must be anchored using all anchors points all all times when set up outside, regardless of weather conditions.
When lifting the inflatable, always use correct lifting techniques, liftings devices or additional helpers when loading and unloading.
Never allow patrons to use the inflatable when under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or any ability-imparing substances.
ADULT supervision AT ALL TIMES. Supervisor must have continuous clear and unobstructed view of the equipment and patrons.
Reccommended age of Supervisor 18 years minimum.
No climbing or sitting ontop of the Bouncy Castle walls or netting.
No pushing or jumping up the sides of The Bubble.
Rules & Prohibitted Items
NO shoes
NO food or drink
NO glitter/confetti, pens, slime, bubbles or silly string
NO sharp objects
Evidence of prohibited items will result in loss of bond.
We would prefer no facepaint as this and the above items are damaging to our Inflatables. Please wipe up any marks on the inflatable immediately to elimate damage.
Any loss or damage to our Inflatable in your possession will mean loss of bond and potentially further charges by invoice if amount of damage exceeds the bond.
Looking after our equipment now will ensure it is here for you at your next event.
DISCLAIMER
MKT Party Hire has explained the Policy requirement regarding supervision of equipment to the Hirer. The person/s or organization hiring this inflatable equipment will be responsible/legally liable for any damage to property or injury to any person occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use directly or indirectly related to the activity. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.
Our Company MKT Party Hire cannot accept any responsibility or action taken for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment. All persons using this inflatable do so at their own risk. I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the terms & conditions above.
I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition, i.e. if it is in a dirty or muddy condition, I will be expected to pay an additional charge.
I HAVE READ THE ABOVE AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND EACH CLAUSE AND BY HIRING THIS EQUIPMENT I HEREBY AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS, CONDITIONS & DISCLAIMER ABOVE.
