1. Definitions
“Client/you” means the person or organisation making the booking. “Event” means the private hire, pre-meal social, booth booking, or cocktail party session described in your form. “Minimum Spend” means the spend thresholds published in our current Hire Tariff (shown on this form).
2. Booking & Acceptance
2.1 Submitting the form is a request, not a guarantee. We confirm by email within 24 hours.
2.2 A deposit of 20% of the Minimum Spend (or the full booth deposit for booth bookings) is due within 48 hours of our confirmation to secure the date; otherwise the date may be released.
2.3 Balance is payable on the night via SumUp card terminal or pre-authorised link (cash by prior agreement).
3. Minimum Spend & Tariff
3.1 We do not charge a hire fee. The Minimum Spend depends on date/time (see the table on this form).
3.2 If actual spend falls short, the shortfall will be charged as a venue fee.
3.3 Pre-meal Socials (new): 1 hour £450 min or 2 hours £700 min, running within our normal availability windows.
3.4 Booth (up to 6 people): deposit required; bottles-and-mixers package or dry-hire available.
3.5 Happy Hours are not active during private hire events.
4. Add-ons & Menu
Add-ons may include: mini cocktail party segment (team games & blindfold challenge), arrival drinks, nibbles, curated/guest playlist, phone-to-Instax photo prints, big sharer cocktails. We will confirm availability and pricing in writing.
5. Age, Entry & Welfare
5.1 Over-18s only; Challenge-25 ID checks apply.
5.2 We operate a strict refusal of service policy and may refuse entry/service to intoxicated or disorderly persons to comply with licensing law.
5.3 We offer zero-alcohol options on request and provide water throughout. Allergen care: we do not use egg ingredients in party segments; nut items are kept off guest stations. Tell us any allergies in advance and on arrival.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 You are responsible for your guests’ conduct and compliance with staff instructions and house rules.
6.2 No confetti cannons, naked flames, or external alcohol. Decorations must use low-tack fixings only.
6.3 You are liable for loss or damage caused by you/your guests (reasonable wear and tear excepted). A cleaning or repair charge may apply if required.
7. Photography & Instant Prints
7.1 Our party format includes on-phone photos which we print to Instax on the night for you to take away.
7.2 We will only use guest images for our marketing with your explicit consent gathered on the day. No consent = no marketing use.
8. Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
8.1 Cooling-off: deposits are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of our confirmation email.
8.2 After 48 hours:
• Cancel 15+ days before the Event → deposit forfeited, no further charge.
• Cancel 8–14 days → charge 50% of Minimum Spend (less any deposit already paid).
• Cancel 0–7 days → charge 100% of Minimum Spend (less deposit).
8.3 December peak dates may carry stricter terms; if so, we will state them at confirmation.
8.4 If we must cancel for reasons beyond our control (force majeure, safety, licensing), liability is limited to amounts you have paid; we will offer alternative dates where possible.
9. Payments & SumUp
9.1 Card payments are processed by SumUp. Card data is handled by SumUp directly; we never store your full card details.
9.2 We may share booking identifiers and payment references with SumUp to take or reconcile payments.
10. Timing & Overruns
Please arrive promptly. Venue hire ends at the agreed time; overruns are at our discretion and may incur additional charges.
11. Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Event is limited to the total amounts paid by you to us for that Event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Data Protection (Data Processing Notice)
Controller: L.P. Entertainment Limited (trading as Bad Habits).
What we collect: booking details (name, contact, date/time, headcount), preferences, allergy notes, payment references, and—if consented—marketing image consents. CCTV operates for security.
Why we use it (lawful bases):
• Contract – to process/confirm your booking and deliver the Event;
• Legal obligation – accounting/record keeping and safety logs;
• Legitimate interests – venue security, fraud prevention, service/complaint handling;
• Consent – optional marketing emails and any use of identifiable images in our marketing.
Sharing: payment processing with SumUp; our email/form/IT providers acting under contract as processors.
Retention: we keep identifiable data no longer than necessary. Financial/booking records are generally kept 6 years to meet legal obligations; routine CCTV up to 31 days unless an incident requires longer; incident/safety logs up to 3 years; any personal-data-breach records (if ever applicable) up to 6 years. Marketing consents are held until withdrawal.
Your rights: you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. You can withdraw marketing/image consent at any time.

13. Fairness & Transparency
Key charges (Minimum Spend, shortfalls, deposits, and cancellation charges) are highlighted above in clear, legible terms to comply with Guernsey fair trading requirements.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The Royal Court of Guernsey has exclusive jurisdiction.
