The Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work

The Cert IV in Mental Health Peer work is a nationally recognised qualification delivered by Mental Health Victoria (MHV), in agreement with Wodonga TAFE.

This 12-month course provides peer workers with the fundamental skills to work effectively within an organisation and provides a framework for practice.

    Eligibility

Please note this course differs from the Certificate IV in Mental Health, which is a course that is not provided by Mental Health Victoria. Those enrolled in the Peer Work qualification are required to be working in the field to be eligible for this course.

If a student is volunteering in the industry or has been accepted into the Peer Cadet Program initiative, then they would also be eligible for the course through Mental Health Victoria and Wodonga TAFE.
