Altitude Scholarships believes all young people deserve the chance to realise their potential. Through modest educational scholarships we can transform young lives and create far-reaching opportunities for success.
Scholarship Terms
As a scholarship recipient, I understand I will receive $1,500 per year from my Sponsor for the remaining years of High School and until completion of Tertiary Studies/College, to be used for education related expenses only.
To continue to receive the scholarship, I agree to the following criteria:
- I will continue to maintain strong grades and always apply maximum effort.
- I will retain all receipts for approved spending on educational equipment and store these in the Altitude Scholarships database.
- I will retain evidence of University/College enrolment and store these in the Altitude Scholarships database.
- I will inform Altitude Scholarships of any significant changes in my financials and or personal circumstances, including any breaks from study.
- I will maintain accurate personal records, completing the Altitude Scholarships supplied template and ensure it is saved in the Altitude Scholarships database in a timely fashion.
Sponsor Interaction
I will agree to communicate with my Sponsor and provide updates with regards to my progress, a minimum of four times per year (each term).
Termination
In accordance with Altitude Scholarships’ policies, the scholarship may be terminated by the Sponsor if:
- I, the Student cease to meet the eligibility criteria, other than during a period where the scholarship has been deferred; or
- I, the Student does not resume study at the conclusion of an agreed period of deferral.
Amendments to this MOU
Any amendment or alteration to this MOU shall have effect only upon being made in writing and executed by the Student and Altitude Scholarships.
Agreement
The Student is aware that this is an ongoing commitment to support a student for the remaining duration of their education commencing on the start date specified below and that there is a $50 p.a. admin fee for the bespoke scholarship in addition to the $1500 per year scholarship.
