2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the first public LGBTQ+ demonstration on the island of Ireland, a march on the last Saturday of June in 1974, that would in time be called Dublin Pride and would become the biggest annual celebration of diversity and inclusion in the country.
Registration is now open for companies and businesses interested in taking part in the Dublin Pride Parade. If you need any advice or would like to talk to a member of our team, contact parade@dublinpride.ie
Before you start filling in the form have a read through our step by step guide that will help with you planning.
Step 1 - Are you filling in the right form?
This form is for buisness and companies, if you're a non-profit organisation contact us at parade@dublinpride.ie and we can help you.
Step 2 - Are you a Pride at Work Partner?
Corporate branded entry to the Dublin Pride Parade is limited to companies who have signed up to our Pride at Work training and partnership programme. If you're not already a Pride at Work Partner, you can learn more by visiting prideatwork.ie or by contacting us at hello@prideatwork.ie
Step 3 - How would you like to take part?
We have 3 ways that companies can get involved in the Dublin Pride Parade:
Corporate Branded Entry – This is a great way to publicly show support for your LGBTQ+ colleagues and clients. You can include banners, sound systems, pageants, even floats for the ambitious. Corporate branded entry to the Dublin Pride Parade is limited to companies who are Pride at Work Partners and your position in the Parade is based on the time you register and pay your entry fees.
Pride at Work entry – This is a new category with a no/low corporate branding policy where you can join the Parade under the Pride at Work Banner. This may appeal to smaller groups or those who are entering as groups of colleagues rather than under their employer’s brand. There are 2 Pride at Work sections in the Parade, the first in the Green Zone for those who book early and the second in the Blue Zone.
The casual approach – Some organisations prefer a less structured approach to the Parade, maybe they’ll meet up for a team brunch and then go their own way for the Parade itself, and that’s perfectly ok. We ask that if your organisation is taking part in the celebrations in this way, that you consider becoming a Pride at Work Partner or donating to an LGBTQ+ community organisation.
Step 4 - Where would you like to be positioned in the Parade?
The Parade starts at 12.00pm, it's a very big Parade and it takes about 2 hours for everyone to get moving and is led out by all our wonderful community groups. You can choose to be in the Green (The Green section is now booked out), Blue or Purple section which starts moving in that order at approximetly 1.00pm. Each section has a set capacity and your booking is not considered final until payment is recieved (you can hold your space now by paying a 25% deposit, subject to the final balance being paid by 31/03/2024).
