You have just finished spark producing work and are ready to leave. What must happen before you leave the area and the task is complete?
*
This field is required.
Only that all your tools and materials are picked up before leaving.
You must pick everything up and do a 5-minute check for smoldering/fire before leaving.
Besides normal clean up, you must fulfill the fire watch requirements of the Hot Work permit. This could be 30, 60 minutes, or even longer depending on the conditions of the permit.

You are ready to weld but your clothes and gloves are wet. Also, the ground is damp. You see others welding already. What do you need to do?
*
This field is required.
Stop. Welding use large amounts of current. Basic welding safety requires dry gloves and other safety consideration to prevent shock/electrocution. Change your set up.
You have done this before and at most felt a minor shock. Use caution but continue.
Nothing. Your equipment can safely handle this and others are doing it. Nothing to be concerned about. You should be fine.
