Thank you for your interest in the Northern New Jersey Rabbinic (re)Design Fellowship! We invite talented rabbis and clergy serving communities in Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties to apply.
Applicants must be ordained or invested by a seminary or yeshiva, or have an advanced academic degree in rabbinics, must have a salaried position as a spiritual leader at a Jewish organization serving Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties (NJ), and must intend to continue their tenure in their current organization for at least one year past the conclusion of the fellowship.
The final application deadline is January 4, 2024.
This application will ask you to:
- Complete basic information about yourself
- Upload a PDF copy of your resume and two professional references
- Respond to three brief prompts:
- What is your vision for Jewish life in Northern New Jersey, and how do you currently contribute to that vision? What are the barriers standing in the way of that vision? What do you find exciting, unique, or challenging about Jewish life in NNJ?
- Tell us about a positive mentorship relationship you have/had. What made it great? What characteristics make/made them an effective mentor?
- What support or resources do you most need in your work? What support or resources would you need to launch a new initiative?
We anticipate that the entire application will take 60 minutes to complete.
The full application must be completed by January 4, 2024. Once submitted, a member of the Atra team will be in touch with you to discuss next steps.
If you have any questions while filling out the application or need accessibility accommodations, please reach out to Brigid Goggin at brigid@atrarabbis.org.
