ABR Designation Course through SWMAR Details & Requirements:
This 3-day Zoom course will help real estate professionals thoroughly represent buyer-clients in real estate transactions and provide a very high quality of service to buyer clients. It will offer ideas and methods for building a buyer representation, counseling sessions, and the most professional degree of service. Agents will learn to explain fiduciary responsibilities in order to gain the trust of buyers so that they will feel comfortable entering into a buyer agency contract. Various purchase contract contingencies that provide control and advantages to buyers are explored.
Becoming an ABR means you will demonstrate to buyers how you are the best choice of hire. It will be easy to Blow Away the Competition!
FYI: Requirements to achieve and maintain your ABR Designation in addition to completing this course:
- Complete 1 elective course
- Verify 5 completed Buyer Representation transactions (no set time parameters for when these transactions must occur)
- Maintain Annual dues of $110 - First year is free.
This course will be held over 3 days: October 25th - October 27th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EST each day. Plan to login and be ready no later than 9:45 am each day as admittance after the start time of 10:00 am will not be allowed. Attendance of all 3 days are required to receive credit for this course.
Zoom requirements exist to ensure receiving credit. You must have functioning video & audio to take this course. You must be seen face-forward on video at all times giving your full attention to this course being taught via Zoom. You are expected to conduct yourself just as if this was a live course.
Only registrants licensed in the state of Michigan will qualify for CE credit be submitted to Michigan's CE Marketplace on their behalf.
Upon receipt of this completed form, Becki Zemel, SWMAR Education Director, will reach out via email or phone (please specify your preference above) to ensure all details are confirmed and collect payment, if paying by credit card.

Our cancellation policy states: To receive a partial refund for any SWMAR sponsored education event, SWMAR requires written notification of the cancellation no later than 48-hours prior to the event. A cancellation fee of $25 will be charged for all cancellations.
