  • Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest!

    In order to keep our youth and facilities safe, we require the following of all individual volunteers:

    • A Volunteer Application
    • A National Criminal Background Check (Costs $40)
    • A Club Tour with Club and Organizational Leadership, including an informal interview
    • Two Reference Checks
    • A Formal Onboarding & Training

    This form is the first step in becoming a volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. A staff member will be in touch within two business days of your submission with next steps.

    Below is a brief description of our current volunteer opportunities. If these do not match your interests or skillsets, feel free to check back in a couple months or you can email Laura Terzigni at laura.terzigni@bgcmetrowest.org to be added to our waitlist. 

     Marlborough Clubhouse:

    • Handyman Services and/or Fall Outdoor Clean Up;
    • Fall 2025 Chess Club - teach a group of youth how to play Chess and run an ongoing Club;
    • Fall 2025 Dance Club - lead a group of youth through the basics of dance and run an ongoing Club;
    • Fall 2025 Cooking Club - lead a group of youth through the basics of healthy cooking and run an ongoing Club. 
    • Fall/Winter Basketball Coach - coach a youth basketball team. 

     Hudson Clubhouse:

    • Handyman Services and/or Fall Outdoor Clean Up;
    • Fall 2025 STEM Club - lead a group of youth through the basics of STEM, or deep-dive into one specific area of STEM, and run an ongoing Club; 
    • Fall 2025 Music Club - lead a group of teens through the basics of music recording and composition and run an ongoing Club;
    • Fall 2025 Teen Art Exploration - lead a group of teens through the basics of art exploration or deep-dive into one specific area of art, and run an ongoing Club. 

     Framingham Clubhouse:

    • Fall 2025 Music Club - lead a group of teens through the basics of music recording and composition and run an ongoing Club;
    • Handyman Services and/or Fall Outdoor Clean Up;

     Other Opportunities:

    • Event Volunteer - Annual Gala on October 30, 2025 from 5:30 - 9 PM (email laura.terzigni@bgcmetrowest.org to express interest); 
    • Fundraising Committee Member (email laura.terzigni@bgcmetrowest.org to express interest);

  • I authorize the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest to investigate all statements in this application and to secure any necessary information from employers and/or references. I understand that I am responsible for covering the costs associated with a national criminal background check that will be conducted prior to my being accepted as a volunteer ($40) and that I may not serve as a volunteer until I have completed all onboarding and training and been approved by the Director of Operations, Vice President, or President/CEO. I further understand that as an unpaid volunteer, I volunteer my time and resources without compensation.
