Spanish Fork City has offered to host UCMA members for a special pre-conference excursion experiencing their "Spanish Fork University: 101" class.

SF University: 101 is a 10-week course for residents where they get to go behind the scenes and hands-on with each City department.

The course objectives are:

Provide participants with primary source knowledge of the City and its operations.
Share the philosophies that guide legislative and administrative decisions.
Strengthen public relations between residents and City staff.
Meet some of the faces behind the curtain.
Explore City facilities that serve the residents.
If you're interested in a taste of Spanish Fork University: 101 and what it would take to implement in your community (which isn't as much as you think) - join us for this pre-conference excursion.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. (Then, you could even stay for a real session of the course and tour of our wastewater treatment plant starting at 6 p.m. if you're interested.)
