What to expect in the programIn this 22 week performance program we will be dividing our dancers into 3 levels. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. Dividing our dancers into multiple levels allows our instructors to focus on making each group level look their very best without any unrealistic expectations! The dance styles will be Commercial, Hip Hop and some Jazz Funk! You will be led by multiple instructors who have all had extensive training in dance and production shows like this one. Our team are made up of industry professionals who cannot wait to make this show a show to remember!
What to expect at the performanceDuring our 22 weeks of rehearsals we will be gearing up to perform at Hypes very own Y2K event in Kelowna on April 20th 2024! The theme is the 2000’s music era.. (Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliot, Britney Spears, Usher, Eminem, Christina Aguilera and more) Our event will be a “night out” vibe with a live DJ playing between routines, a bar and an open floor for guests to dance the night away with us! You will be the nights entertainment, in a show you DO NOT want to miss!
Pricing:We are happy to offer a payment plan option for this program as it is a big one!Non Refundable Deposit: $250 to secure your spotPayment Plan for remainder:
$50 Bi Weekly will be taken from your account for a total of 5 payments to pay the remaining $250. This must be set up by Oct 15th.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation of Classes: If classes are canceled due to the fault of the company, a refund will be issued by Hype Dance. This will be done at the discretion of Hype Dance. We will not be financially liable for classes or dates canceled due to events beyond our reasonable control. We retain the right to change the advertised program of classes in the event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control such as bad weather.
Hype Dance reserves the right to change fees without prior notice. However, we will endeavor to inform participants of any changes as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable as spaces are limited within the program.
Dress Code & Lost Property Policy
We suggest wearing clothing you feel comfortable moving in. Sneakers are also recommended for our dance floor. Dancers must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the type of activity they will engage with during the class. Should the instructor deem the attire unsafe, we reserve the right to prevent you from taking part in the activity. This is done as a matter of health and safety.
Be sure to bring a filled water bottle! These classes will be Low Intensity, however water cannot be provided by the studio, due to restrictions.
Hype Dance does not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen, although anything we do find will be placed in lost property.
Masks are no longer required in Classes.
During sessions, participants are expected to behave in a polite manner. Any unacceptable behavior from participants will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behavior by participants may result in exclusion from current and/or further classes.
Participants must obey the class and facility rules, and take Full responsibility for their behavior to any damage caused to the facilities, utilized by Hype Dance.
Health and Safety
Hype Dance takes seriously their responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all participants, and teachers; and takes appropriate measures to make sure the environment is safe for all.
Hype Dance will undertake regular risk assessments regarding premises hired and any concerns will be raised with the providers.
Dance is as an active engagement as any sport, and whilst every effort is made to avoid them, injuries can happen. Hype Dance accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained, death, or any personal property damage/loss, which may occur on the premises, via any means other than a teacher’s negligence.
Hype Dance is licensed and insured organization. In the event that you observe any unsafe conduct, or conditions before, during or after the classes, we ask you toto report the unsafe conduct, or conditions to instructors or staff members as soon as possible.
Media Use Rights Permission
We ask participants to grant permission for Hype Dance to take photographs and videos of the participants. No personal information is ever used or linked to the photographs and videos.
We ask for full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, website, press releases and funding applications.
