Terms.

Heart Of Texas Labrador Retriever Club (HOTLRC) is proud to offer an array of events that all can participate in to show the skills their dogs have obtained. We have the privilege of using land and equipment for our participants to have the ability to participate in such events. We expect our participants to treat the land and equipment we use safely and carefully with respect and responsibility. If a person is unable to act in such a manner, the participants may be asked to leave the premises.

ONLY dogs 6 months of age or older are permitted on the premises during this event.   

No females in season will be permitted.   

Waiver and Release of Liability:

I am voluntarily participating in Working Certificate Series on the property that HOTLRC has permission to use for the event. I understand that participating in Working Certificate may involve inherent risks for both me and the dog I have with me, including but not limited to, the risk of dog bites, falls, and other injuries.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in these activities, I hereby release and discharge, the property owner and HOTLRC, from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether in law or equity, arising from or connected in any way with my participation in dog training activities on property or with equipment.

I understand and acknowledge that the training activities may include interactions with dogs owned by other participants, and I release the property owner & HOTLRC from any liability arising from such interactions.

I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my dog is vaccinated and in good health before participating in these activities. I will not hold the landowner & HOTLRC responsible for any illness or injury that may occur to my dog while on or arising from use of the property or equipment.  

Agreement: I am in agreement that I will stay within the designated area of property HOTLRC has permission to use and will not trespass beyond that. I agree to leave the property cleaner than I found it. I agree that my dog will always be kept in my control and will not chase any livestock on the property. I will stay on designated roads, especially during inclement weather. I agree to have good sportsmanlike conduct in all interactions.

I have read this Waiver and Release of Liability, have had the opportunity to ask questions, fully understand its terms, and sign it voluntarily and without any inducement.

After you submit this entry, it is final, except for special circumstances.  Entries can only be cancelled due to injury or heat cycle by providing a report from a vet to the HOTLRC Hunt Committee Chair at least 24 hours in advance.   In the case of a cancellation, your entry fee will be refunded, minus any fees.

I CERTIFY that I am the registered owner(s) of the dog or that I am the authorized agent of the actual owner(s) whose name(s) are listed on this form.   I/We accept full responsibility of the statements made in this entry.
