Foster Program Participation Aggrement

This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between ("Happy Hounds Animal Rescue") and the undersigned foster caregiver ("Foster") for the purpose of participating in the Rescue Foster program. Both parties agree to the terms and conditions outlined below:

Foster Responsibilities:

1. Foster agrees to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the foster animals under their care.

2. Foster agrees to provide proper food, water, shelter, and any necessary medical care for the foster animals.

3. Foster agrees to follow all guidelines and instructions provided by the Rescue regarding the care, behavior, and socialization of the foster animals.

4. Foster agrees to ensure the foster animals receive regular exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization opportunities.

5. Foster agrees to promptly report any changes in the foster animal's health or behavior to the Rescue.

6. Foster agrees to prevent the foster animals from reproducing by providing appropriate measures (e.g., spaying neutering) as directed by the Rescue.

Adoption Promotion:

1. Foster understands that the goal of the foster program is to find permanent homes for the foster animals.

2. Foster agrees to actively participate in adoption promotion efforts, including but not limited to:

i. Sharing information about available foster animals on social media platforms and other relevant channels.

ii. Attending adoption events organized by the Rescue.

iii. Responding promptly to inquiries from potential adopters and facilitating meet-and-greet sessions

3. Foster acknowledges that the foster animals should be promoted for adoption throughout their stay, with the goal of finding suitable permanent homes as early as possible.

Rescue Support:

1. The Rescue agrees to provide necessary supplies (e.g., food, bedding, toys, etc.) for the foster animals, subject to availability and Rescue's within the means.

2. The Rescue agrees to provide guidance and support to the Foster, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues related to the foster animals' care.

3. The Rescue reserves the right to conduct home visits or check-ins as deemednecessary to ensure the foster animals' well-being.

4. The Rescue retains ownership and legal responsibility for the foster animals and may request their return at any time.

Termination:

1. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the other party.

2. In the event of termination, the Foster agrees to return the foster animals to the Rescue promptly, Unless stated otherwise.

Liability:

1. Foster agrees to release and hold the Rescue harmless from any liability, claims, or damages arising from their participation in the foster program, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Rescue.

2. Foster acknowledges that the Rescue can make no guarantees or warranties regarding the foster animals' health, behavior, or suitability for adoption.

Confidentiality:

1. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information or sensitive data shared during the course of the foster program.

By signing below, the parties acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms of this Agreement and agree to abide by them.

By completing this form and dating below, I hereby submit that the information provided by me is true. Any false information may result in me losing the privilege to foster a pet. I understand that Happy Hounds Animal Rescue Foundation. has the right to deny my request to adopt an animal, and that this application must be completed in full and approved by Happy Hounds Animal Rescue Foundation before any adoption may be made.
